Yo, so I tried it on creative and it did work at first, but then I tried it in survival and instead of putting all the villagers from the village I got two villagers in and breed them and it didn’t work anymore please help,
@@JesusGonzalez-kv6fu i made it in creative too, so i would say to make sure you are at least 150 blocks away from that village and make sure there is an exact count of 10 or 20 villagers in the area with no in between, same with no golem. only 10 or 20, and then lemme know if that fixes anything

Just made this farm in 1.18. It works very well. So for anyone looking for a simple 1.18 iron farm this works just as good as the super crazy one with 30 steps
Made 2 of this Iron Farm in a creative test copy of my world and it works. Test 1: 10 villagers and 10 workstations (kinda slow) Test 2: 20 villagers and 20 workstations (iron golems spawn faster then the previous one) For test 1, I built it close to the ocean water while in test 2, it was 150+ blocks in the air. For test 2, I got 34 iron standing for 15ish mins while I went to do something else.
I did this method on survival it did work for the first few days but for some odd reason even though I named all 20 villagers they disappeared over time (I built them near my spawn so I can even AFK it and made sure there was no village nearby) can you tell me if you might know what the issue might be?

This actually works! I was sorta surprised since I was worried it was out dated. Still works hard and provides a lot of iron. Saying this for anyone thinking of doing this and still knowing it works.
@@gamerzking2295 it will work with only 10 or 20. nothing else. you need the right amount of work stations for the right amount of villagers. so 10 villagers is 10 work stations, and 20 villagers is 20 work stations.

Tip: Tame 5 cats and place it near the farm. This will make the farm more efficient, as it will only spawn iron golems. You could remove the campfire and change the button underneath the killing chamber directly by a hopper funneling downwards going to the chest.
@@Eggfur I think it is. For everytime a mob will spawn in this farm, there's a chance for a cat or for a golem to spawn. I've seen somewhere that 5 cats are the maximum, so if you have already 5 of them, then all the chances of what mob will spawn next is already all for golems. I have an existing iron farm also (almost similar to this design) and it can spawn 2 golems at the same time.

I made this Iron Farm and it was working, but after a recent update the Iron Golems (and cats) are now spawning outside where they're supposed to - above the beds and outside or below the platform area as well
For maximum efficiency with 20 villagers •Add water to villager containment with blocks over their heads •Wait for 5 cats to spawn. Tame them and sit them on top of the beds. Then enjoy the massive amounts of iron. Great video!
you can easily double the intake even in bedrock with a smaller farm containing one zombie and only 3 villagers i average about 2-3 stacks per 20 min works on java or bedrock

FOR ALL MOBILE PLAYERS OUT THERE IT'S WORKING FINALLY A FREAKING WORKING IRON SH*T TIPS: replace the slaps with leaves to prevent iron golems from spawning on them and tame a freaking 5 cats so they only spawn freaking iron golems and make sure to stay the freak away from other sh*t villages about 100 blocks
Tip: Cure TWO zombie villager near the farm then cart them into the capsule. Then give the each a stack of breed, stand nearby. They'll breed like crazy, then when theres 20 kids kill the two breeding adults.

Small little flaw. I try to afk this farm but the iron golems sometimes either spawn in the villager box or on a corner even if it’s slabbed. So what I did to fix it for now is put string. Overall good farm. I’ll edit again if the string helped Edit: string didn’t help and they seem to be only spawning on one corner and it had a bottom half slab. I’m put two more bottom half slabs on top of it so let see if it works

First make sure that your villagers are exactly 20 or 10 then check that if u made the farm 150 away from any othe workstation or bed and if they don’t work then also check that all villagers are working and connected to workstation then afk near the farm for like 30 min as the villagers must work for a full day
@@beluga_real its better to build it away from any workstations and bed so make sure its 150 blocks away from all that and I don’t recommend building near house make it like 150 blocks away and take care of all small detailing or it will not work and its definitely efficient and working in 1.17 it also works in realms

Are you trolling? Who in their right mind would jump down to ground level a million times to get water from the ocean? Besides that, it's not exactly quick or easy TO GET DOWN when you are in the middle of building the farm. Using the ocean would make zero sense.
I build this farm in my mcpe and i get 7 (448 iron )stacks of iron and if i keep it up all night for 8 hours so heres the math 448✖️8= 3584 iron and trade with villager for 4 iron into 1 enrald So basically i make 14 stacks of iron in 8 hours Big thanks to OinkOink ♥️

You know I dont really think cats effect the spawn ratio of golems, there are separate mob caps for both iron golem and cats, iron golems have 2 and cats have 5, if you do those cats will stop spawning and you will not get strings so nooo
I personally put a one block hole next to the fire so the cats can escape and get trapped in a small glass room, when theres 5cats in there they just stop spawning.. too lazy to bring cats at specific emplacements on top of the farm aha
It happened to me too, but patience is key, after some time, (if you built the farm right) you should see some profits of iron, poppies, and string as stated in the video

Just get 2 in there and make sure to place 20 beds only, villages will be born only if theres a bed so they will breed 20 villagers for 20 beds not more than that.

Put leaves on bed and spawnproof the 20 blocks area with leaves or slabs. Then you will get best results.........
good idea is if you can to always build these above an ocean. most of the time they wont spawn outside of the farm.

How do you differentiate the breeding from the non breeding ones by time i get to the 22 mark i feel like some of the babys will have grown up

@@timariugabriel6175 Oh man im assuming you've never seen sorting systems. Those things can gobble up all your wood and iron in a few modules.

Just get 2 in there and make sure to place 20 beds only, villages will be born only if theres a bed so they will breed 20 villagers for 20 beds not more than that.
