I loved your analogy!! And this song is the end of an era (FEVER series) so its kinda like a nostalgic song or like you said a point of realization. The ending of the song where you hear the "ooh"'s, its the same as the melody from their song "wave" which makes this song so like nostalgic in a since! This song was as described by Hongjoong as "a song that expresses the agony of the youth living in the present era in ATEEZ's style. While ATEEZ has talked a lot about FEVER so far, releasing the FEVER series album, this song is a message that ATEEZ wants to express at the end of that fever.". Its a end of the beginning to their career. They started to gain lots of attention so that youthful side of them is starting to fade away which is why I think the song ends with the wave melody because that album (Treasure EP.3: One to All) was a playful album and was their first win on a korean music show! Just thought you would want to know :)

I absolutely love this song,its made me cry multiple times but its because the lyrics really express the emotions and confusion while growing up.

Mingy saying FixOn again makes my heart happy..cuz after his hiatus he said he grew up from saying it but YAY happy hes happy again.
I know you probably know this now but when Hongjoong says “Passion Young Fever” that’s a callback to the first Fever album since this is the Fever series epilogue. Also the “oh oh oh oh” on the background at the end is the same as the beginning of their song Wave just in a lower key so it’s also a call back to that song. That song is on the Treasure Ep: 3 One to All album, it’s the title track. (Surprised I haven’t seen more ppl in this comment section say this, the reference to Wave is the first thing I noticed when this song came out😂)

You gotta hit sm ateez songs, i recommend wonderland (kingdom or mama 2019 performance ver.), hala hala, sunrise, win, utopia, and fireworks heat-topping mix. My personal favs but they NEVAAA disappoint.
