Exactly. I'll bet you the majority of people giving advice on how people should play poker hands are NOT profitable at poker themselves, if they are truly honest with themselves.
What a roller coaster Lex! Last video I felt your pain, but in this one it's all smiles! I'm not sure I could handle the swings. You are a solid human! Keep it up! Respect!
Hell yea its nice to see positive variance kick in after that bad downswing from the previous video. And I lovethe longer videos!! Keep em coming Lex!!
Well played Lex, you were on fire in this session. I know that I would have folded the pair of Kings after getting such a big re-raise from a tight player, you went with it and won the hand. After watching your vlogs since you began, I would say that you are now so much more comfortable going all in, when the situation calls for it, this gives you a massive edge. Well done! Thanks for the great content.
Heck yeah man!! What an awesome session you not only ran good but played amazing. Love the fold vs 44 with your AK why flip when you played good all night. Congrats!!!
Lex! You will never get bad words from me no matter how you play your hand! When you we’re considering the all in shove on the pocket kings. My heart was stopping! I could only imagine what it was like to have $28,000 on the line and you have pocket kings against a four bet. How many times have we lost to aces in our life with kings? I think you did great, and I could only imagine the stress keep up the good work! Personally, I would’ve been extremely happy with the result!
I’m really happy to see you flourish a lot more. Even trying some editing, even if it’s not the best, it’s better than the day before :) You have come a long way. I’m really happy for you and all your success. I like how you show a lil more of my your life, crack some jokes, and just be you bro. It allows to see how our life’s would be when we get there. Until then. Keep our chips warm brother. Hopefully we see eachother at the tables one day!
I don’t know what you ate or did before this session but your thought process this session was spot on!!! The KK jam vs QQ instead of calling or Re-raising was the best decision (IMO) and the AQ jam vs Q10 was also the best decision and I’m not just saying that because I knew what the hands were. In KK jam if you re-raised QQ could jam and then make you feel like he has A’s. Calling and seeing an A on flop would diminish the pot size if you were winning and also could open to be bluffed out of pot. AQ jam on Q10 raise was also best move as you were going to pretty much call any bet on river anyways since he only had like 5k behind. So you get fold equity by jamming. If he had 2 pairs like 59 or 29 or even Q 5,2,9 you can still catch up with the A pairing. So you’re just losing to sets which probably pocket 5, 9 would have raised pre. So along to pocket 2’s only. Really, in real time you had mind clarity to make best decisions. Rinse and repeat!!!!
Sick session Lex! Glad to see the positive variance on your side finally. That river bet where you basically called his hand was next level man. Made you look like a stud. I also liked the KK jam pre flop. I think you’re better off jamming pre than calling and potentially getting bluffed off your hand post flop on an unfavorable board.
Very nice! It’s about time for the variance to turn in your favor. Folding the AK vs 44 was I think the thing to do in that exact situation. Great job on the video!!
Paul James....What on earth did he think everyone had i mean he had to know he was crushed. What a juicy game i mean all in on the river with a open ended straight draw is something i was doing back in 2004 when i played my first time.
Well done Lex O. Played really solid, made some nice decisions and not many mistakes. Loving your content, keep up the good work and enjoy, until next time.
Not at all, especially given they can only run it once. Would you risk more than half of your profit on a single all in call knowing that you're likely flipping at best? It's a slightly negative EV call in that case. Running it twice changes the odds so in that situation then yes you call.
Good to see you book a good win! I respect your game and it takes alot of courage to shot take against Mariano, Rampage and other deeply bankrolled players at bigger stakes. Keep up the good work!
If you watch much poker, you’ll see that vloggers will intentionally make a error while editing bc they know how the chat will react by blasting the error and trying to look smart. In reality they are being played like a fiddle. The chat will take the bait and try to correct the vlogger. Lex loves the comments section blowing up bc it helps the computer algorithm and gets more recommendations on TH-cam. Lots of vloggers purposely misspeak, mis label a card or get the suit wrong. Hey great session! I can understand folding the AK there. It's really a tough spot for a lot of money. I appreciate the videos and keep up the great work!
Don’t agree at all. That’s playing with scared money. Just don’t play those stakes if your not comfortable especially when your already up 27K and it’s 4 handed.
@@nickstahhhh Wow everything you said is horse caca. So many poker players think you should just go all in or call all ins with AK every time you have it, but that line of thinking is incorrect. Ridiculous they didn’t make an announcement for him. I’ve had the exact same thing happen to me and they were holding the gate as they called me and as me run it for the gate.
