List of moves below.
- Light combo. 3 left click combo. Can move while using the first move. Second attack strikes twice, longest recovery time. Last hit knocks enemies away. All hits can be guarded.
- Heavy Slash. Hold left click. Ground only. Knocks enemy farther away. Hits twice. Can be guarded.
- Ninja-esque air spin. Midair left click spam. Low damage, and enemy doesn't stagger from hits. Up to 7 combos with an extra strike upon landing. Can be guarded.
- "Ultimate Attack". Right click only on ground. Consumes SP. Will drain more SP depending on the length of its charge. Launches enemies upwards. Able to cancel first and second light combo attacks. Will auto-cast when fully charged.
The Katana's Ultimate Attack can actually make your opponent stagger. It depends on when and where you hit. If you hit them at the moment you strike, meaning when they're relatively near, you will launch them upwards. If you hit them at the end of your strike, in other words when they're somewhat distant from you, you might (I must stress the word MIGHT) cause them to stagger.

This is surprisingly nostalgic. I didn't expect to receive such feels from looking up S4 League, but now I remember how much time I sunk into that game, and I think it was worth it back then. I have screenshots from when I was 12 years old, and now I'm 21.

thanks jin, and when you do a charge attack it also resembles vergils rapid slash technique. now all we need is for later versions to include a "judgement cut" and i'd be all set to pick up my sword again XD

Katana is a nice weapon to fight with so far I've seen. They can be usefull, but if possible could you send me what it gives? Movement speed, I mean.
From what I've seen in your video, you're really good with the Katana (probably even better than I am lol). I have the tendency to forgo the 3-hit combo and just use Heavy Cut, Pinwheel along with the Ultimate Slash. I mostly use Heavy Cut to counter CS and PS users' jump attack when they're nearby. As for Pinwheel, I usually only use it when somebody else is keeping my opponent busy. Ultimate Slash though..I just use it whenever I feel like it, I guess. Anyway, thanks for the video -Saegusa, EU

@game9696 Like all melees, they will be for PEN but have a special, stronger version for AP.
If you've seen a few pictures, the AP Katana is orange while the regular is blue/black.

you can only have one of the weapons equipped during the KR testing event. (Since you have to choose which one they give you)

i mean to stop the charge attack of weapons and agree its hard to get anotheir hit in but i still thank it worth noteing that you can use it to stop the rush andvif close enoff it has a knockback efect wich helps in a attack

I remember playing this game a long long time ago, my favorite mode is i think it was called a death match? Where everyone spawns in a seperated pillar and then gets shot at the main area where you fight it was so fun, and i was still bad at that time i dont know how to do any tricks, i do love the katana and scythe lol

Release for season 3. In Korea the Katana didn't got released the time season 3 came out. It may take a few weeks until that happens. But those who log in every day may get 7/31 days TrialKatanas (Would make more sense then).

Yea...you're right.Tried out the katana, and even though you can spam the jump, it deals low damage and i rarely hit someone. Easily countered with the cs

Nah, they just display the actual additional damage values, like +5 becomes +10% damage

hmm. if i'm not mistaken the style of sword-play all katana characters in the game more or less use is Iaido, the same style as Vergil from devil may cry. that's pretty cool don't you guys think ? :D

How do you get it
i found a good way to counter the katana, transfrom sigma at close range knock back will stop it's attack and you can start yours ^^(keep in mind tho sigma blade only last so long even with ap armor i can berly pull it off)
