  • Growing up in a family of 13, Phillip Vowles learned to appreciate the effort it took to feed all his brothers and sisters. So when he started harvesting his own crop, he decided to supersize his venture. As Phillip says, “big vegetables feed big families.” Today, his giant veggies top-out at over 100 pounds and can feed more than just a few families.

      A dryad (/ˈdraɪ. æd/; Greek: Δρυάδες, sing.: Δρυάς) is a tree nymph or tree spirit in Greek mythology. Drys signifies "oak" in Greek, and dryads are specifically the nymphs of oak trees, but the term has come to be used for tree nymphs in general, or human-tree hybrids in fantasy.

      People who use pesticides are lazy growers and shouldn't be growing in the first place, in my 6 years of cannabis growing and 4 years of growing vegetables, I've never once had to use pesticides or fungicides.
      GMOs however ?, I couldn't really care, more plants for me to grow
      (Watch someone get triggered over the GMOs because nature should be left, well if everything had been left alone, we'd still be in the dark ages, progress should be welcomed, not hated)

    • @ChicknSandwich
      @ChicknSandwich 5 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      @@Mr_Makina So you grew a couple pot plants and tomatoes and you're the authority on who can garden?
      You must be high on fertilizer. Gotta flush that out before curing.
      I'll indulge your "trigger trap".
      No one has a problem with GMOing the optimal corn or any seed.
      The *problem* is the supplier of those GMO corn seed also sells the only pesticides that can be used on that corn. That corn is resistant to the chemical, while it kills everything else and causes unknown effects on humans and the environment. Cant even grow seeds from last year's GMO crops. So every year, slightly different corn, slightly different chemical compound.
      Google DON corn. Dont be a stereotypical stoner dumbass.
      Natures had millions of years to fine tune the corn seed to be what it is and if looked after its totally fine. It was never meant to be grown in 1000 acre fields, sprayed with 100 gallons of poison to kill weeds and harvested by 10 ton machines all operated by 1 man. You see the problem, dumbass?

    • @Mr_Makina
      @Mr_Makina 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@ChicknSandwich the fact that you have to name call, you provide a point, just devalues your point, the fact, you also make assumptions, is also another devaluation of your argument, calling me a stereotypical stoner, when realistically, if you saw me, you won't tell the difference, if I was a "stoner"
      Get a little grip of yourself and if you actually, look in to the wider opinions on the gardening community, a lot of people have issues with GMOs and are typically spouting misinformation.
      Flushing actually doesn't make a difference, it doesn't change the ash, flavour or burn and my opinion is pretty much well, shared in the Cannabis industry, if you need pesticides, you're a lazy grower and shouldn't be growing, there's multiple high roller names who agree.
      Get a grip and don't act childish, you don't need to call people "dumbass" to get a point across, don't be a Simpleton, it doesn't make you look good.
      Ps. If you call 70 Cannabis plants each year a "few" then your arrogance shows, I've worked with some of the biggest names in the Cannabis industry, seeing their rooms, testing their genetics, I'm pretty sure I've got more hands on experiences with plants, than you buddy.
      Maybe, give me your address and I'll send you a half ounce, you need to chill, leave the feelings at the door.
