Not only can you sit and stare at it all day, but once it is out of your hands crypto-psychics are powerless to determine if you previously possessed it at any time, and is more liquid than most people's brains, widely accepted, globally for blow'nhoes, immediately, with no regulatory oversight. Just don't use it to store your wealth.
The "public" are majority low IQ bozos who haven't read a book in their adult lives, hold opinions/beliefs that are entirely influenced by propaganda and advertising, and have diets which are at least 65% composed of microplastics, seed oils, phthalates and high fructose corn syrup. But if Bob suddenly cashes out BTC from a KYC exchange in the same value of XMR you sent to an unidentified person, then the glowies have pretty good evidence you paid Bob, not Alice. The math isn't broken, user behaviour is. This is why Chainalysis can claim "We can track XMR". Sure, but only probabilistically and only if the user is dumb (like cashing out the exact same value in a traceable coin on an exchange).

There are several Haveno instances up and live currently. The dev team released the code, but didn't set up a trusted instance, so other people worked on getting instances running.

TradeOgre is another good option.
This will make crypto more resilient on the long run, we should be moved towards DEXs and these attacks by the gov will only speed things up.
