After a day of trying to listen to this song( i would click on a different one and it wouldnt play). Something kept making me want to hear it. After finally hearing it, man it hits home and it resonates to a point were, i been trying to get things into words and this is the closest thing i can say describes it.

This is a full circle moment song for me. Reminds me of what my ex would ask of me. And the yrs I stayed and worked and supported him thru him workin on himself. Instead I got pulled down with him and i hit rock bottom. I was always the stable steady one. But some thing in me let this experience, this trauma happen to me. So this song is to my friends now as I'm finally working on myself and no one else. Are u with me?

Childhood trauma is tho root cause of so much…addiction, anxiety, ETC ETC ETC -It’s not an excuse, it’s a fact. It changes a brain. I wish my husband understood, or was willing to learn. I also get that after 25 + years 15-43, it has to be fucking draining. I need some good vibes/prayers/whatever you believe in.

@@christiandavis450 I get it 🥹. To be fair, my husband has put up a lot from me. But, he still has never made an effort to understand mental health issues and addiction. He is one of those people that can lay down and dads asleep in 1 minute. I lay in bed for HOURS overthinking. He thinks addicts are losers…it’s sad, really. He also seen with his own eyes what my parents have done to me. Even with that, he lacks empathy.
