@@jow715You're right. Political correctness gone wrong. Chinese calender observes Lunisolar not Lunar. They are different from each other. Either call it Chinese New Year or Spring Festival. For other race groups who protest, well, they have accept that it is Chinese. They adopted and followed Chinese culture, traditions and customs.

春節的叫法本身就是政治操作，只有大陸強加於其他華人社會，其他華人社會一律都叫農曆新年，英語世界叫Lunar New Year。
