Just so everyone who is saying the girl who walked off the stage isn't determined, I met her a few days ago and she told me that she now has permanent brain damage from this experience. everything having to do with the left side of her brain is extremely difficult for her. she is still last pass, center jumper, and center dancer. if you didn't notice when she walked off she couldn't hold herself up. she probably saved herself from dying or from injuring someone else. So stop judging her!
When the routine started the first tumbling part the girl on the right pops her knee out of place. She marks her next pass causing the girl to get in the wrong place and causing those two girl to collide. The base one walks off the back and collapses after and the girl who popped her knee out walks off the side. The middle flyer is the one who got hit and she continues going on. The girl wiping her eye on the side was a base who got blood in her eye by the flyer, she wasn't hurt.
+Alexis Miller two girls crashed one fainted and the boy was dragging her off, the point flyers head was majorly bleeding and shouldntve been on the mat. The girl that also walked off was totally different injury, she tore her acl.
The girl who leaves the floor to the right at 0:35 was not apart of the crash at 0:20. If you watch closely, you can see one of the girls from the crash leave the floor to the left at 0:35 and fainted and the other girl from the crash kept going (she was the point flyer).
i remembered when this happened so many years ago. this team was the level 5 team at my gym and watching this from the sidelines was horrific. we looked up to all these girls so so much i just remember my teammates and i being so concerned after they got taken to the hospital. not to shade the owner of the vegas cali gym but once during a full out i got a concussion and crawled off the mat because i was blacking out, ranna (head coach of aces and owner of the gym) literally made me get up and continue doing the full out. this even happened after this jams competition, so she really has no sympathy and will make you continue the routine even if your health is at stake😂
i remember watching this video over and over again much when it happened! I can't believe they just let them keep going for that long with two girls walking off and a third injured.
A lot of people are asking about the girl holding her head after her pass and she was first pass. Her flyer was tayler and tayler was one of the girls who got hurt(point flyer) the first pass had blood in her eyes so she had to wipe her eyes. She couldn't see
She pushed through that routine and had to be STOPPED. That is perseverance. I hope all is well and for a speedy recovery with the girls that were injured :)
Despite the injuries, I couldn't help but to notice those all-girl partner stunts in the back!♥ They were gorgeous and it shows girls can be as strong as any coed team out there!
and just to think the girl was in the right spot but she moved....and got hurt. and the girl who tore her acl, props to her for going as far as she went. i was there when this happened and the whole team was devistated of the accidents. i have total respect for this team
it was an accident / none of them wants to hurt their own team no one is liable for it . always reme\mber in the field of cheerleading there are always unexpected happenings should have done.. thats cheerleading. hands up to the coach of CAS so clever im from the philippines and so proud of you and of course to the dancer/cheerleader. hope the betterment of the injured person may the lord god blessed you n keep your team away from danger :)))) your team is my IDOL im the big fan of YOURTEAM :)
if you don't know who to watch- after the collision watch the center flyer- absolutely CRAZY they let her keep going after she got hit that hard! i'm so glad competitions will fully stop routines for injuries now...
I Hope your Daughter makes a full recovery along with the other girl my whole gym is praying for you all. This was incredibly scary and painful to watch. God is watching over all of these girls. From my gym to yours I hope all these amazing Athletes ,including your daughter, are okay.
So if u watch closely, you can see the two girls leave the stage at 0.35 one was from the collision, and the other hurt her knee. If you watch closely the other girl in the collision continues to stunt, though it seems she may be dizzy/off balance (obviously she hit her head that hard!!) and don't hate on the girls that left, you can see that they left for good reasons!! At the end they stopped the music to pull the other girl off the stage.
people should just STOP. she's a cheerleader. we have imprited in our brains "DO NOT LEAVE THE MAT BEFORE THE ROUTINE ENDS" but if she left that means she knew something was terribly wrong. so don't judge her or any of these girls.
I agree with Emma, you obviously don't know anything about cheerleading. 1. Cheer has lots of safety rules 2. Cheerleaders are coached in a way that says if you didn't break something, you aren't going to pass out, and you aren't going to throw up, you push through and continue the routine if you can so technically, those girls all did what they were supposed to. The dj knows about cheer and saw two girls tumble into each other, which is a surprisingly common thing, and saw that they both got up so why would he make the rest of the team stop the routine if one girl runs off stage. Please learn about cheer before you make assumptions, the girls did what they were supposed to do.
Emma and Katie are the ones who aren't educated. Both girls needed 9 staples in their heads, another girl tore her ACL, and I believe a backspot was injured in this routine. If that meets your standard of "safe" to continue, both of you are fucking crazy. I would hate to do a flyover in the pyramid then realize one of my bases is missing.
I was at there when this happened. I was sitting in front of the floor. It all happened so quick most people didnt notice at first, especially since they kept going.
You're amazing! I've been there I tore my acl and mcl my sophomore year. I just stayed on the ground. The fact you got up, even for the time you did is amazing. Praying for you!
Awesome Job for pushing through the routine girls !!! I love how they person who lost their base still kinda did her stunts , I have seen so many people that just stand there if they lose somebody !
The girl that walked off the stage walked off because she tore her ACL and she tried to continue but she couldn't and both of the girls broke there skull and had to get staples in their heads. JSYK!
The worse things that can possibly happen during a routine happened! But still great jobs girls, although things didnt work out as they should have you guys still pulled through so great job! and i hope the girls who got injured are doing fine now!
If you watch the video of the whole entire arena you would see the coaches do care and they did notice.. After she walked off they ran over too her carries her and took her out I believe to the hospital and they kept trying to cut the routine off to take the girl off the mat that kept going
No they have multiple teams per gym. Ranging from level 1-6. This team os level five. There are lots of locations and each one has a lot of different teams!
OMG that's some dedication although why she moved over was my question she had enough room to do her backhand spring... Those girls collided heads and I'm mean horribly but the one girl stuck through it that's amazing!!!!
The girl that walked of the Matt is one of the girls who collided, the girl who tore he acl is the one who fakes doing a tumbling pass for a couple counts
When the music is stopped for injuries the team is offered a chance to redo the routine at a later time so they can pull whoever was injured out and fix the gaps in formations
wow this is a strong team.! they keep going no matter what.! and that one girl still does her tumbling pass even though there was the other girls blood in her eyes. MAJOR respect for this team.!!!
someone got hurt in the beginning of the routine and tore her and marked her other tumbling and another girl got confused and went to the wrong spot and her and another person collided and cracked their skulls bleeding all over the floor, the girl that tore her ACL ran off and the girl that was ran into, ran off and the fainted the other girl stayed and flew in her stunt and did all of her tumbling and in her stunt she got blood in her main bases eye so she couldn't see they're okay now!
Everyone had it wrong, one girl torn her acl and then the 2 other girls that clashed. Some people were saying the girl that left the stage and passed out torn her acl too.
Tayler, I would just like to say i am SO PROUD of you, i dont know who you are and you dont know who i am but i just wanted to say even though you made a mistake, you kept going, unlike the other girls. it takes a lot of strength to do that so cudos to you
one girl in the beginning of her tumbling tore her acl then got of the side of the stage, then 2 girls collided and one girl (the center flyer for the first stunt) got up and did the rest of the routine until the pyramid were the coaches got her, and the other one that collided didnt handle blood well and went to one of the spotters in the back and i dont no which one bruised there ribs.:(
Watching this again as an adult freaks me out. These are children conditioned to “just push through”. They are encouraged to “push through” possible life altering injuries for the sake of a 2.5 minute routine as part of a recreational activity they have no or minimal chance of applying to their adult lives (in means of supporting themselves). I’m going to end up being *that* parent, because my kid is not doing *anything* with a concussion, nor will her friends or teammates. I have a vivid memory of my friend (15) being encouraged to keep her mouth shut by the coaches because we “couldn’t afford to lose her” right before competitions started. She received a SECOND due to her delayed reactions after the first, and still has a hard time with memory. No, she isn’t the exception, this kinda Bs has happened on EVERY team I’ve been on (4 across 3 programs).
I think it does have the proper rules and regulations, USASF have changed some of the tumbling rules but the two people that collided were just in the wrong spot and the girl who tore her acl just did a full it happens all the time, I understand exactly what you're saying but I don't think this happened because of any dangerous stunts/tumbling
This team's coaches should be so ashamed for letting this routine continue as long as it did. As soon as one teammate leaves the floor, the routine needs to stop since every person plays a role in executing stunts and pyramids safely. THREE left the floor. THREE. I don't know how you don't stop the routine seeing an athlete limp off due to obvious injury AND an athlete walk off with blood pouring from their head after a collision. Literally wtf were they thinking.
I CAN NOT beleive people think cheer isnt a sport! That would be sooooo scary to have to walk off the floor or watch someone from your team walk off the floor and still have to keep going then get pulled off the stage..... #prayforaces
i saw one girl walk off the matt to the back spotter & another girl walked off to the side of the matt assuming she is the one with a torn ACL but where did the other girl with the broken skull go?
Okay I'm just saying this but just because people get hurt in your activity does not make it a sport... I know that cheer definitely is a sport when done competitively but it's not a sport because people get hurt. And maybe not in this crash example but in MANY cases people get hurt because they are being either taught wrong or told to try something they aren't ready for! I've lost count of how many times I've seen a cheerleader go into a double full with her feet turned already! SO DANGEROUS!
I was at this competition, I competed and after they left the mat I saw one of the JAMZ girls cleaning up blood on the mat. Anybody see when that happens??
They don't do the stunt. But the flyer , she's awesome , she do the stunt though she don't have bases. :) Nice girl .Werk it. :) Congrats. You won the Majors. :D
it wasn't really their fault. From what i've heard, one girl wasn't here and the coaches changed the positions at the last second backstage, so they got confused of their formations.

Hii!!it has been 10 years,do you know is she now?
@@conyyy_21tm I’ve only just seen it I’m so late

The fact this went won for so long is insane, the judges and coaches just letting it go on is insane.
+Alexis Miller two girls crashed one fainted and the boy was dragging her off, the point flyers head was majorly bleeding and shouldntve been on the mat. The girl that also walked off was totally different injury, she tore her acl.
i just went into tears ;/ its so sad and i love how strong the girls are to keep everything together even if it was killing them
The girl who leaves the floor to the right at 0:35 was not apart of the crash at 0:20. If you watch closely, you can see one of the girls from the crash leave the floor to the left at 0:35 and fainted and the other girl from the crash kept going (she was the point flyer).

the two girls did a full and hit each other really hard they both cracked there heads open

They collided heads when they hit each other tumbling. They both crack their heads.
The fact that the music wasn't stopped after the collision is ridiculous. Cheer needs more cut & dry safety rules. That was an obvious head injury.
I'm not being rude but if they chose to continue they can continue but at that moment they probably didn't see it happen
Are you even a cheerleader
I agree with Emma, you obviously don't know anything about cheerleading.

It was hard watching my dream team go through that....... but this is the first team ive seen that had a injury and kept going.
You can tell the coach didn't know she was bleeding. Cause on coach stood up and looked then got the other coaches and they told them to come down
Awesome Job for pushing through the routine girls !!! I love how they person who lost their base still kinda did her stunts , I have seen so many people that just stand there if they lose somebody !
The girl that walked off the stage walked off because she tore her ACL and she tried to continue but she couldn't and both of the girls broke there skull and had to get staples in their heads. JSYK!
You girls did really good. I'm proud that you guys kept pushing through the routine ! @megan kadel
This routine still hurts to watch
The worse things that can possibly happen during a routine happened! But still great jobs girls, although things didnt work out as they should have you guys still pulled through so great job! and i hope the girls who got injured are doing fine now!
If you watch the video of the whole entire arena you would see the coaches do care and they did notice.. After she walked off they ran over too her carries her and took her out I believe to the hospital and they kept trying to cut the routine off to take the girl off the mat that kept going
after the stunt sequence you can see one of the girls try to point out the point flyer is bleeding.
They thought that all of the girls with injuries had already left the floor. As soon as they realized the flyer was bleeding they stopped the routine.
Read this story yesterday and honestly when I watched this I like cried. If something like that happened to someone on my team I'd be broken
No, the girl who tore her ACL walked off the mat. That girl had blood in her eyes from her flyer, who was involved in the collision.
No they have multiple teams per gym. Ranging from level 1-6. This team os level five. There are lots of locations and each one has a lot of different teams!
This video gives me chills like i almost cried
I am so sorry for both of them😔😓😰 nobody should ever go through that😨😰
its fine TheShizznutsistas everyone makes big mistakes and small mistakes we all hope you get better we love you guys
OMG that's some dedication although why she moved over was my question she had enough room to do her backhand spring... Those girls collided heads and I'm mean horribly but the one girl stuck through it that's amazing!!!!
The fact that the flyer kept going even though she was bleeding. Props.
The girl that walked of the Matt is one of the girls who collided, the girl who tore he acl is the one who fakes doing a tumbling pass for a couple counts
she was the base for one of the girls who collided and the flier was bleeding and it got in her eyes and they started to sting.
When the music is stopped for injuries the team is offered a chance to redo the routine at a later time so they can pull whoever was injured out and fix the gaps in formations
yea everyone makes mistakes glad u guys are okay i have alot of respect for u guys even more after this strong team
@jessica pendergraft I think their names are Taylor and Paige..
wow this is a strong team.! they keep going no matter what.! and that one girl still does her tumbling pass even though there was the other girls blood in her eyes. MAJOR respect for this team.!!!
omg i'm so sorry for you! it makes me really sad, u're a great cheerleader!
I totally agree. When she stumbled while being carried off far left, she had fainted.
(March 11, 2024)
Props to that girls who threw her pass even though she looked like she was going to be sick. And same to the flyer who was bleeding!
someone got hurt in the beginning of the routine and tore her and marked her other tumbling and another girl got confused and went to the wrong spot and her and another person collided and cracked their skulls bleeding all over the floor, the girl that tore her ACL ran off and the girl that was ran into, ran off and the fainted the other girl stayed and flew in her stunt and did all of her tumbling and in her stunt she got blood in her main bases eye so she couldn't see they're okay now!
Everyone had it wrong, one girl torn her acl and then the 2 other girls that clashed. Some people were saying the girl that left the stage and passed out torn her acl too.
Ok people they both got Off the stage if you see the girl leave on the left watch the right the other one leaves to so don't hate on any of them
OMMMG
That little girl is my inspiration she cracked her skull yet she still went up there and tumbled and stunted
this makes me wanna cry.. like damn
she continued the routine( she was center flyer for the first stunt) until the pyramid were the coaches got her:( but she was a trooper:)
Prayers for the girls who got injured. That collision was horrifying to watch.
Tayler, I would just like to say i am SO PROUD of you, i dont know who you are and you dont know who i am but i just wanted to say even though you made a mistake, you kept going, unlike the other girls. it takes a lot of strength to do that so cudos to you
that last pass is wow!!
Paige and Tayler are doing so well recovering but it was soo sad!
The little girl and the girl that got blood in her eyes are so brave 3
one girl in the beginning of her tumbling tore her acl then got of the side of the stage, then 2 girls collided and one girl (the center flyer for the first stunt) got up and did the rest of the routine until the pyramid were the coaches got her, and the other one that collided didnt handle blood well and went to one of the spotters in the back and i dont no which one bruised there ribs.:(
Yes they topped the routine early. omg im glad theyre okay now.

she was basing the girl that was bleeding, and all the blood from the flyer went into her eyes! it was burning and she couldn't see anything
was this the aces routines where two girls suffered broken skulls?
This shows cheer is a sport! But I have respect for the injured girls as they pushed themselves as far as they could go
This team's coaches should be so ashamed for letting this routine continue as long as it did. @TheShizznutsistas Were you ok? what happened exactly?
i cry the most when i see the girl faint after walking off stage
I CAN NOT beleive people think cheer isnt a sport! That would be sooooo scary to have to walk off the floor or watch someone from your team walk off the floor and still have to keep going then get pulled off the stage..... #prayforaces
That is so terrible...I feel so bad for all the people who got hurt.
i saw one girl walk off the matt to the back spotter & another girl walked off to the side of the matt assuming she is the one with a torn ACL but where did the other girl with the broken skull go?

did the girl at 1:11 throw that pass with a torn ACL?
I saw the pics and those girls are brave and tough
I was at this competition, I competed and after they left the mat I saw one of the JAMZ girls cleaning up blood on the mat. Anybody see when that happens??
what happened to the one girl who was standing in the corner after her tumbling pass and during pyramid
How do u see the photo of them together?
They don't do the stunt. But the flyer , she's awesome , she do the stunt though she don't have bases. :) Nice girl .Werk it. :) Congrats. You won the Majors. :D
That was terrifying!
The little girl her name is Tayler I'm so glad she's ok now
amazing!
Did anyone realize that the one girl that got hurt never stopped?
CHEER IS A SPORT !!!!!!!!!!!
They stopped it early. You can see the coaches rushing about and stuff.
I love aces 😭😭😭
and yet taylor gets up and still hits her stunt!
Can someone explain Calis concept. So there's one team per gym?
Why did the main base in the middle leave the stunt?
did they even stop their routine early
did they stop their routine early because of them getting hurt
she had blood in her eye from her flyer respect her for doing it though :)
A girl in the beginning tore her acl and the girl that moved over got confused on spacing.
We had like 3 people hurt, the 2 people who crashed into each other and the one from the tumbling, that's why she was faking it...
@PinkZebraCheer I was thinking the same thing!!
Who were the two girls that ran into each other?
I know Taylor's amazing for continuing but why wasn't the music turned off when Paige had to stop
it wasn't really their fault. From what i've heard, one girl wasn't here and the coaches changed the positions at the last second backstage, so they got confused of their formations.
i'm like sitting here crying... anyone who says cheer isn't a sport can try to do this routine.
