Terror in Haddonfield goes so hard i’m actually depressed they don’t release new music (i least of what i’m aware of) but the breakdowns go absolutely stupid with them highs
The sad thing is, that band I Keep My Enemies Close....that whole song is pure CRAP....UNTIL the breakdown right at the end. If they had just made more of the song sound like that, instead of just Asking Alexandria clone...Also, I dont understand why you would lose by making a face. That makes no sense
Anyone else think all the songs kinda sounded the same? Don't get me wrong, I'm not a "modern metal sucks" type boomer, I fucking love a good breakdown that makes me wanna throw hands but these were all soft as hell imo, 000-00-00 riffs with a synth melody just ain't hitting anymore tbh Beatdown, Slam and ignorant caveman death metal is what's scratching that itch for me these days when it comes to those nasty ass fight riffs that make me wanna do karate
I get where you're coming from. So many of them have plinky-plonky synth parts over the top that detract from the breakdown as a whole. Not the end of the world by any means, but too generic for me. Deathcore in recent years has raised the bar continually and a lot of these bands don't personally cut it for me. But that's me. I'm sure plenty of folks enjoy them, and that's great. More power to 'em.

Grudges, unprocessed and the Antarctica project I’ve heard of
