Thanks for making a video man. I was interested in the clearance of the pickets from the ground too, but you answered that in the comments!

I use those clamps (or ones like them) all the time as I work alone mostly.

Is the next door neighbors house still abandoned??

Educational and impressive. Question if you don’t mind. Installing pickets should you start on higher or lower ground?

If you build it with the rail side facing your house then you are responsible for the payment but since you flipped it around, you can claim that you did work to the property and file a lein with the county and with a little waiting and some paperwork get paid. Maybe even take ownership of the house.

i have never understood the nice side facing neighbor, i don't like my neighbor that much!

Thanks for watching my video! That is funny! I believe that the theory is that most neighbors are not going to like you building a fence. So, to make them feel better about it, give them the good side. The old saying "Fences makes good neighbors" is SO true! Then there are no arguments about where the property line is. Yes pretty side out. Prevents the ladder for criminals to climb and makes your property look better, curb appeal if you will. You don’t want the ugly side out and say hey that’s my house lol.

It’s a rule of thumb on fences. Every where I’ve ever heard was pretty side to the neighbors or street. And another reason they don’t have easy access to climb the fence. And it makes your property look better instead of ugly side out. More curb appeal if you will

Its rule of thumb, the privacy fence post are usually on your property line, therefore You have to build the fence with the nice side facing outwards and the post and rails inward
