- The boys are still hard at work planting wheat. Only problem is the lids weren't latched! The grader is now pulled apart awaiting repairs.

Really enjoyed this video keep up this great work !😊
Great video Matt Phil Brad and Peter
Gotta have respect for what you guys do! Breakdown, innovate, repair and push on!!! Farmers are the backbone of our country!!!
Good to see that you were man enough to take the blame for not securing the bin lids Matt. Your brother Phil didn’t take long to take the Mickey out of you either. All good stuff.
Fantastic family farm 👍🏻🏴
Don’t feel bad Matt
It’s happened to me as well😂😂
Hey Matt!! I don't know which is worse, you messing up or Phil catching you lol.😅
😂 we've all been there, hats off to you for posting it
Matt, the odds are you weren't the first and won't be the last either.
Might be a idea to fit some micro switches on lids with indication light to show there shut. Well done for your confession
Don't feel bad Matt, we all mess up but the difference is how we deal with it 😊
Looks like you dodged a bullet on the grader.
Thank you
Ahhh brotherly love/???
Grader transmission problems look not good i think Deere and Volvo looks very simular .
One Volvo G series at work last 7000 h and only a few hours after it get rebuild again .
Are some problems inside and have to be reinforced whit a kit
makes you feel real big when you get caught fixing up a stuffup and it always happens
Lucky it was wheat and not Canola.
Stuff happens
Better to pick up the error with lids early rather than not at all.
Oh transmission fun pass
What’s bad is if that one bearing went out how long before anymore go out with 15k hours
They are all getting replaced while it’s apart😁
Love the banter & you wouldn't have it any other way. Quality as always.
Better to notice now the stuff up now Matt than when it germinated and you notice a massive air strip .
please keep up the drone shots. I enjoy them very much. I wish I had footage of my family farming. Your kids will really enjoy this content later in life. God Bless
Will do! That is one of the reasons I’m doing this!😁
full new bearing kit if u in that deep
Absolutely!
Matt it is hard to Soar like an Eagle when You are surrounded by Galahs , lest You took it on the chin ......Cheers ......
Thank you for sharing
🏆🙏🇺🇲🤗
💩happens Matt ! The good thing is no one was hurt so all good . Carry on soldiers 😅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️general Dad will never know we won’t say a word not us🤷♂️ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just goes to show that you are human hahaha
Your only in the wrong when you lose the argument 😅😅😅
Great video team cheers from Greg in Caldwell 😊
Great job seeding Phil and Matt
Matt, what do they say about lids and who checks what " There's a failure in communicate"!🤣🤣🤣
“How to ruin a 70k gearbox in five minutes” 😂😂😂😂
I’m sure you guys will have it sorted….. just don’t let Matt near it! 😂
Love you work guys keep it up
Makes you wonder if that top bearing gets short of oil as nothing much to bring it up there. Need to get those guys from Pakistani truck, they don’t mess about like you lot! Have it rebuilt by morning with refurbished bearings 😂😂. Newer JD tractors appear to suffer a lot of transmission bearing failures which is generally catastrophic to both tractor an wallet from what I see on TH-cam
😂😂
Dad's dodgy repairs😂Thanks for bringing us along. I had a season hay carting in 1970 in WA. There were'nt any fancy machines then sadly. At least I can follow you along.
Uhh, lids...hinges...can't fly off? Might come open but ya aren't chasing 'em... Hello?
There are way more hours of tractor seat time farming than most folks could visualize, I suspect. I'm shaking my head over what it took to get that gear mixer outta the grader. Seems there would be a better way. Success to ya'll!
Just give dad the dremel and some oversize balls and that bearing will be good as new :D Fingers crossed it was caught quick enough, that debris could have made an absolute mess inside that case
Never time to do it right, always time to do it twice!
hahaha I had to laugh so hard when Phil arrived and when Matt stepped out of the tractor with a guilty face, and when you guys talked about the die grinder to fix the bearing, that was really funny guys. Luckily the damage seems not to be that bad. Hopefully the fix won't be to difficult, because it sounds tricky and complicated. 👍 P.S. Did you get the rain that you were hoping for?
We didn’t end up with enough to help really but thankful anyways👍
The double sow - I mean “increase rate trial” is always helpful in determining if you have your seeding rate correct. Would love to see updates of this trial throughout the year Matt.
😂😂
That’s a cunning way of ensuring you won’t be promoted to head seeder. Now you can still ride around looking busy while taking the videos. 😂 good stuff fellas.
Shhhhh😂😂
