    Hi Dr. Bri, Thank you very much for your camp program - I'm hoping it will help! Some advice please. I've been a runner for over 3 decades, and I've had UI since a couple years after giving birth to my daughter 23 years ago. Over the years it's become progressively worse, but I don't want to give up running so I wear Poise pads (and I wear less absorbent ones throughout the day). Are running and jumping exercises (I do HIIT when I weight train) unhealthy for the pelvic floor?

    • @vibrantpelvichealth
      @vibrantpelvichealth  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the programs. When it comes to exercising during your period, it largely depends on how you feel. Gentle exercises like stretching and yoga are generally considered safe and might even provide relief from cramps.
      However, everyone's body is different, and if you're experiencing discomfort or fatigue, it's perfectly okay to give yourself a break. Listen to your body and choose exercises that make you feel good. If you have specific concerns or conditions, it's always wise to consult with your healthcare provider. ~Vibrant Support

Just note that by the end of Camp you'll be adding light weights and a little bit of impact, and that might be too much for you at this time. Tune into your needs. Happy Camping!

    • @vibrantpelvichealth
      @vibrantpelvichealth  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kegel Camp focuses on learning how to properly contract AND release the pelvic floor, and sometimes the relaxation phase is the "missing link." If that's the case for you, then these exercises might make a difference! Also, you might consider asking your GYN about a pessary.

      They can help strengthen the pelvic floor, but tune in to your own needs. The addition of impact and light weights toward the end of Kegel Camp might be too much for your body at this time.

    Hi is this entire camp program fine to do if i think i have a proplapse of bladder or the uterus?

      Kegel Camp is a great way to help strengthen the pelvic floor and learn some great lifestyle tips, but tune in to your own needs when it comes to prolapse. The addition of impact and light weights toward the end of Kegel Camp (the last 1-2 weeks) might be too much for your body at this time.
