Hairless Wookiee amen. Me too, got tyrant sin, beyond death, and CC’s first 4. Getting rid of Chris killed the band
@Hairless Wookiee i bought at the time George albums, but was kind of disappointed, in times of Barnes corpse was almost like mayhem in levels of how obscure and sick the music was, with George became just theatre
@Hairless WookieeI strongly disagree man, George's vocals are brutal as fuck, his pronunciation is much clearer and he is more versatile.
@@darrellogilvie George might be technically faster, but does that really count? In comparison to Chris' rich vocals and inspired lyrics, George sounds like a hollow clown. No soul, no nothing.
@@danielfoley89 even while in CC his vocals were mediocre. You can hear several times in Butchered where his guttural is breaking and you hear just normal voice and it sounds retarded. He was never that good. The sooner you realize the better
Oh my god Devoured by Vermin is so bad on this version
@@danielfoley89 Barnes fanboy
You mean you don't like that totally br00tal intro scream? VERMEEEEEEEEEE
I'm convinced that song alone is what got him booted lmfao. He's off time, doesn't match the rhythm, sounds like shit
@@danielfoley89 I prefer Barnes CC thank you very much, he just had a very dramatic fall from grace
@@danielfoley89 also no clue what you're even talking about. Corpsegrinder's vocals have more power and body than Barnes has ever had. This is coming from someone who's favorite is Butchered, so you can save the Corpsegrinder fanboy bs

why couldn't they let barnes just be barnes? he sounds like shit on this, because he sounds angry. what made him sound so brutal in butchered and tomb, was that he had such a calm demeanor. this is what people don't understand. the more laid back the gutterals are, the MORE evil they sound. like, just picture satan talking. you think he's gonna be screaming and yelling in a fit of rage?
@@JRPrestonIL Exactly. Chris' reports about his band mates making fun of him during that time confirm this. They obviously needed someone who they can control 100%. Chris might have had a clear vision about the lyrical and vocal direction, but I highly doubt it was a good idea to replace an artist like Chris with a robot like George, just for Alex and Paul to regain control over these musical parameters again.
His vocals sounded amazing on this. They were a mix between butchered at birth and the bleeding. This demo could’ve been better than the bleeding, not butchered though.
He physically wasn't capable of sounding like that anymore. He had no technique and ruined his vocals, that's why his vocals on the newest SFU are more of a gurgle than anything. Definitely not a growl
