The best purchase I made ever. When I put this CD at home, in the car... It feels like its restoring my energy. I feel at peace and happy. Btw, Fief - II is probably the best Forest Dungeon Synth work ever done. Favourite tracks: Deep Forest Dance & Pedding Potions.
Could not agree more! Fief II is a personal favorite and I definitely consider it upper echelon of dungeon synth as a genre. "Peddling Potions" has stayed with me since the first time I heard it. I also must mention "Dawnlight Warms The Castle Stone" for the sheer elation it brings to my soul. The sounds of Fief I & Fief II I take with me until my time here is done. Thank you Fief!
@@sigminka I use ir for the same. I am reading "The blade itself" by joe abercrombie. It´s part of a trilogy. I think you will like it if you like grimdark fantasy.
man this music is dope. i listen at my shitty ass dead end wojak job and it brightens my day. now im not driving buses in circles refueling them, im on a quest, got my lunchbag aka travellers rucksack filled with lembas bread, cheese wrapped in cloth and special bread while i partake in the halfling leaf and raise my exercise skill. Bless thee quest NPC Out of Season, for I bring for thou a flask filled with a spirit that shall press the like button and subscribe to more of your bard tunes and tavern music.
This has become my "go back home" video in terms of background music. Can't think of something to listen to? Here we are again, right where we belong. There are hundreds of dungeon synth videos, but somehow this one just hits right.
Regal, peaceful, contemplative. As brutish and short as life was in the Middle Ages, it made like harder to take for granted, and those moments of celebration were that much more filled with joy. You can hear it in old songs like "Greensleeves," imagine the boar roasting on the spit as men and women dance, and it's definitely here in this wonderful mix.
Sounds like my favourite Castle Jam from Stronghold 10 times longed. Happy I found this genre sadly I never knew it before, feel like I found something I missed for long time.
I absolutely love the ambience that these albums create. I really feels like I am being transported to another realm. My favourite is Deep Forest Dance. The instruments just work so amazingly together. (PS I think that Fief II starts with Dawnlight warms the castle stone :x)
Maybe alittle far fetched but after fief lll + lV get released I hope y'all can do a box set of all four albums on vinyl with the original album art, just suggesting
Out of Season I understand that finding the art maybe difficult but I would love to see the original art on vinyl, I think the art fief ll used has a high quality version of it, the rest idk if they're original pieces made for those albums or they're taken from already existing art but a vinyl boxset would be amazing

I put this at low volume while reading medieval fantasy books, and I swear it transports you there!! Great symphony

The greatest of the genre, the greatest in the land:
FIEF!
gonna listen to this before final exams, may it reassure me
Perfect for playing Dwarf Fortress! At least when things are going good and there isn't hordes of undead shuffling around the surface...
Thats exactly the same reason i found this genre 😂
Take it your fort is near a tower? Or a reanimator biome perhaps
@@thenostalgiaarchives3853 Yeah, I guess that makes me the third person who stumbled upon this genre for the exact same reason ahah.

In the Middle Ages life expectancy wasn't that short if you put infant mortality aside.
This transports me somewhere else. The opening song on the first album alone makes me feel so elated

I cant believe #13! What a master piece!!!😮
This is so so well made, they're an expert at their craft for sure. I just started making dungeon synth, I can't wait to get to this level one day
The best medieval ambient.
This got me through a big part of a 12 hours illustration marathon where I produced six images for a contest. Much thanks!
Secret Shops and Deep Forest Dance are great.
Thanks

Got me through a tense, several hour long Nether expedition, thanks!
