Started playing league mid season 2 but not until 2013 when i got interested about pro scene. I watched that year's playoffs then fell in love with SKT T1 when they beat Starhorn Royal Club in finals(they were the underdogs that time and no one expects them to win). Have been a fan of Faker ever since up until now. Being a T1 fan is such a roller coaster ride and I'm glad of being part of it. Long live to the GOAT... the Demon King...
this is why i love poby. he’s like all of us. but see you have experienced teammates that fumbled the bag and should of legit compensated for the fact poby was put in a place where he clearly just wasnt ready. league really shows whos back is is strong.
He's the goat. The undisputed best. There's nothing left for him to prove but he still delivers, time after time. What an absolute legend. I have never wanted anyone to win worlds as much as I want T1 to win this weekend Hopefully I can return here in two days to celebrate. A potential win now 10 YEARS since the org's first worlds win is completely insane and makes for one of the single greatest storylines in esports
I don't know if people actually don't know about this or just feels like to shit talk them, but from a lot of interviews with former teammates has shown the fact that faker's macro is unmatched. Most of the time he would know where the enemies are and would macro his team to do something to make a exchange. And when july hits, a.k.a the month that they lost faker, every single teammates of him looked absolutely LOST. It's truly unfair that people think he should retire and stuff, he's just the heart of T1, when the heart is not pumping the organs are just not going to be functional. He signed a 3 year contract after S12 ended for a reason. His in game performance might be bad from time to time, but they needed the brain.
I'm just happy that he is finally happy with his performance, it has only been up since his Azir ult about a year ago. I've been playing for 13 years, Faker is the only reason I'm still playing and watching the game. When he retires, it'll mark an end for a lot of people. I'm 100% quitting when he's gone, game ain't the same anymore and it's time to move on and let the younger players take over.
In my own term. Faker is like a Gargoyle statue. Some sort of guardian to the team. In the fantasy, even as a stone statue, Gargoyle instilled fears to the enemies and friends. Faker's presence in the team like a ship captain. To the enemy, he is the one that they had to guard against. Frequently we saw in the game, the enemy had to allocate more resources and man power just to take down his champion. Like in a football game where 2 or 3 players had to assign to one player on enemy team and this situation created a gap on another area.
If T1 wins Worlds this time somehow. It will end up being more emotional than last year. The fact that the mighty T1 is underdog this year where the veteran face of the team faced injury and made a comeback, where they have a bad history (Korea), all odds stacked against them!
I’m sure he’s feeling exactly what a lot of people feel when they already know they are at the top of their area. Lewis Hamilton of F1, Tom Brady of NFL, Messi and Ronaldo of Football… Faker knows he is the best, but he doesn’t have the mindset of the best. Instead he wants to win as if he has never won before. The hunger stays the more and more you win. And it comes in even harder once you haven’t won it all in a while. Faker doesn’t need to to prove anything, he just wants to win again.
This T1 Roster is very good.. great solo laners however, Faker is Veteran Legend and he gave the team the confidence and help them climb. When Poby came to the place of Faker you can see that they did not had the spirit really.. even though Poby was good. They always had some haters, but thats nothing bacause i still hope that T1 can win Worlds 2023. T1 Always.. Fighting!!!
Looking at it in hindsight. This might have been a blessing in disguise. I think each player gained valuable experience in playing without Faker and helped them realize the holes in their game that Faker was covering for. So once Faker came back, I think a lot of the shown weaknesses were being patched and improved. Now we're seeing it come to fruition here at Worlds. Each player has made some ballsy "Faker"-like moves that has paid huge dividends.
Faker's role in T1 is incredible. I think you should have included the reaction the team had after beating KT when KT had chosen T1 because they thought they were the weaker team. It was pretty funny to see the way the players sent the message "you thought wrong". Interestingly, KT is STILL paying for their misjudgment of T1, as it caused them to have to fight through the path they've been given at Worlds. They just keep getting hell level matchups.
I had a feeling that as soon as this roster clicks, it's another dynasty waiting to happen. They've got their first today and could very easily dominate for a 3peat
The thing about faker in T1 is, He is the IGL most of the shotcalls comes from him. His game knowledge is so insane that it can really make t1 games looks easy
unfortunately based on some team comms released recently, his shotcalls don't always get followed. For example when Faker asked for someone to stay close to top as he was bound to get ganked and needed peel, Oner just walked off into the jungle and didn't appear to listen.
A lot of people think Faker's presence is a detriment to T1 since they crumble when he's gone. But Its not just because he's good though. Its because hes the both the shotcaller AND the veteran player on the team. The other players may be better than Faker in certain aspects, but they are all young and new. They all deal with nerves and pressure and lack of confidence, in a game where those things are a disadvantage. Faker helps boost morale, lead the plays, and give them a perfect example of how to remain calm and play slow during high intensity situations. Its not a detriment atm bc when he DOES leave the other members will have more experience and a title under their belt. They will be able to fill the role Faker does. All great teams need an even greater Leader. It's a bit too soon to expect any of them to be ready to fill that right now, as even Faker had that when he was a rookie. It's not just about being a mechanical god when it comes to League of Legends. The mental battle is almost just as, if not more, important on the rift.
Ironically, it seemed like Faker's injury caused break made T1 a better team in the end. Faker had a short rest, healed a bit, and the roster became more in line with the fact that Faker was the Goat. They probably swallowed what little pride they might've had, and fully embraced Faker's shot calling.
In 2014 when he started he was the mechanical best player Now he’s the leader, he’s the Gandalf of T1 He knows his shit and has been through it before. He’s the voice of reason and still sometimes, just sometimes, his mechanical skill comes out (see also the Ruler scoop from yesterday vs JDG that won them game 4)
Its just insanity how this roster (and Faker) has always been at the top of LoL from last year. They lost when it mattered most but 5 second places is still riddiculously high
I dont think Faker will stop in the upcoming years, especially since he won that gold medal and got exempted from military service in Korea. So we might see him play more in the upcoming years!
its just he has like rl inspiration aura or something, just having him in your team makes you feel unbeatable which makes you not question game choices
I've been supporting t1 since 2014 and I'm still here despite the ups and downs of the team and sincerey I want my demon king to claim his crown just one more time
Faker the LeBron James of this league. You just cannot imagine a Professional League of Legends without Faker playing, you just can't. We all grew accustomed to him being consistently on the biggest stage that you just cant imagine a Worlds without this man competing.
T1 needs to invest in veteran coaches like what kkoma can do. They were struggling in drafts thats why they lose most of the time. They need a very strict coach if they want to hold summoners cup again. They also need a good sub for faker and oner just like old SKT with tom and easyhoon.
I don't think this story does a realistically good enough job also bringing light to the coaching issues in T1, TOM, the one who has led them to their resurgence, was not the head coach at the start of the split, Bengi left midway.
This video should be enough to silence all Faker's clown haters. Yes it's true that Faker doesn't have the #1 stats like CS, KDA, KP and etc. He doesn't care about his stats as long as they win the game. I've been a T1 fan since 2015, so I can confirm that Faker's playstyle changed just like how the meta changes from time to time. He focuses more on shotcalling & playmaking not lane dominance. Stats alone are not enough to be considered as the "GOAT". What's the use of having good stats if you can't help your team win a title? Achievements, contributions to your team, the game, and the legacy you left behind are more significant to be considered as the GOAT.
Faker is literally the Messi of League of legends, in his day he was an unstoppable 1v9 player who had the best technical skills ever and carried his team in every game, however even now in the later part of his career where he may not be at his absolute peak technical wise he still is the main man in the team and he makes everything tick and wins games just with his sheer presence, shotcalling and influence over the game. He may not be hard carrying every game on his own but he makes his team 10x better and thats the sign of the GOAT. No one will ever come close IMO

Faker having Passive Pressure from years of expirence shows.
Faker is The heart and mid of the team.
He is A Demon King, A King T1 follows.
He's the goat. The undisputed best. There's nothing left for him to prove but he still delivers, time after time.
What an absolute legend. I have never wanted anyone to win worlds as much as I want T1 to win this weekend
Hopefully I can return here in two days to celebrate. A potential win now 10 YEARS since the org's first worlds win is completely insane and makes for one of the single greatest storylines in esports
You can return now
@@hyonslayer Sure was a good day to be a T1 fan
I cant wait for the "Story of Faker 3.0" if ever he wins the worlds this year.
He isn't the best player in his team anymore, but he's still the most important. Been rooting for him ever since his rookie year.
Who else has mastered more than Faker:
Impact
Patience
Micro
Macro
And now he is in the final defeating 3 LPL team's so far. Hopefully he can lift the world Thropy once again, he and his team, they're deserve it.
"This year might be his last chance to lift the cup on home soil"
And so he did.
Trully the G.O.A.T
Cant wait for the documentary about t1 winning worlds, the epicness of that gives me chills
The biggest flex a player can ever show. "without me, you guys are nothing"
The storyline was so great! From being almost unable to get to playoffs to becoming an LPL slayers to Worlds Champion
Not just a remarkable return but he completely owned worlds and made another mark in esport history.
I'm here after T1 win against JDG. Faker it's just a monster, another Worlds final
@@AMightyStormStay closed to top sounds like a Jungle Topside to me thats called prio
if they win worlds this would be the biggest comeback in history.
Well, he's about to win worlds now, truely a legend
I'm sure having the best LoL player in history in your team is a big confidence booster 😂
Deft had his story last year, Faker gets his this year 🎉
Goddamn this was an incredibly story arc. Cheers to Faker and T1 for becoming the world champions!
Faker winning worlds again, in Korea, with T1, after this season is why he is the greatest of all time. A true unkillable demon king
BRO AND NOW HE'S IN THE FINALS WHAT IS GOING ON
Ironically, it seemed like Faker's injury caused break made T1 a better team in the end. Faker had a short rest, healed a bit, and the roster became more in line with the fact that Faker was the Goat. They probably swallowed what little pride they might've had, and fully embraced Faker's shot calling.
he‘s the talisman. there is nothing bigger someone can be to their team than that.
In 2014 when he started he was the mechanical best player
Now he’s the leader, he’s the Gandalf of T1
He knows his shit and has been through it before.
THAT is why he’s the greatest.
I dont think Faker will stop in the upcoming years, especially since he won that gold medal and got exempted from military service in Korea. So we might see him play more in the upcoming years!
its just he has like rl inspiration aura or something, just having him in your team makes you feel unbeatable which makes you not question game choices
You need to update this. It should now be how he dragged his team into Worlds and into winning it all.
I'm a simple man. I see faker, I click watch.
Faker❤❤❤ rooting for you as always!! And T1 will raise the summoner’s cup! They can do it!❤❤❤
I've been supporting t1 since 2014 and I'm still here despite the ups and downs of the team and sincerey I want my demon king to claim his crown just one more time
Been many years since I played League but Faker is no doubt the goat of eSports.
faker has not won the world for severals year but still in the face of league . That how great and big he is to the community ❤
Faker drag 1-7 team from last place to win Worlds'23...!! That's how GOAT he was
I don't think this story does a realistically good enough job also bringing light to the coaching issues in T1, TOM, the one who has led them to their resurgence, was not the head coach at the start of the split, Bengi left midway.
if T1 wins against BLG then I think they can win worlds
If T1 can beat GenG, they can win worlds
@@SuperDoggykong gen g is their cryptonite I swear
@@SuperDoggykong but I feel like they’ll get momentum off a blg win
@@SuperDoggykong Once they get momentum you know it's gg for the rest.
@@owennen facts I feel like this blg game is like a deciding factor wether or not T1s gonna dominate worlds or just be like a top 4 team
Bro is literally Pantheon from the hit game League of Legends
I feel really bad for Poby. He has to fill Faker's shoes, which is a nigh on impossible task.
Dude's in Grandfinals now
And he did it. In style ❤❤❤ Love Faker. 4 world titles. Best league player 😅ever. Will never see it again.
some people really underestimates how faker plays the game as a whole, its not that poby was bad, its that faker was too good
Faker went from wrist injury to wiping out all 4 top LPL team to win worlds 2023. 😂
Been supporting T1 through thick and thin. I believe they're gonna win this years world! Might be tough but I wanna see them lift up that cup 💪
To all that supportive comments I see here prior to them reaching the finals. If you see this, you’re a real one.
Him and his team ascended to greatness once more.
And now that he won it. Im waiting for your worlds 2023 video.
No one will ever come close IMO
update: He lift the trophy again for the 4th time GOATTTTT
11/5 T1 becomes the only Korean team in the final four
The mad lad….he’s done it.
“When you play god they will crumble 1 by 1” T1 WORLD CHAMPS BABY 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Here after t1 won worlds
Uncontested goat of all of esports
Now he is our last hope 😓👍❤️
THE CHAMPS ARE HERE
this story is a typical anime plot. such epic return of Faker.
Who’s here after T1 won worlds
Faker is not only the GOAT of LoL, but also the BOAT as well. The undisputed champion, no can can replace his throne easily.
Proof that faker is a S tier team buff
