Growing up in Michigan in the 60s and 70s we didn't get a chance to see the National League stars except for the All-star game or maybe once in a while on the Game of the Week on Saturday. I didn't get to see Clemente, Aaron, Mays, McCovey, etc.
Got the wrong 2 guys up there .... one he wasn't giving to his community it was for Nicaragua helping them cause he had a big hart and loved to help people ... and the other guy was doubting his greatness for real ..... 3000 hits and died, beginning of his prime .... RIP THE LEGEND 21
100% dude. Ever seen "Chasing 3000." ? It's a really good baseball movie about 2 brothers trying to see Clemente get his 3000th hit. I still don't think he gets the love he deserves.
