  • In this video of Norton Infectious Diseases Institute Grand Rounds, Elena Swingler, PharmD, BCIDP, will explore Non-tuberculosis Mycobacteria (NTM) infection. She will discuss what NTM is, how it differs from tuberculosis (TB), and the symptoms and risks associated with NTM infection. Dr. Swingler will also examine the various diagnostic methods used to identify NTM infection, including imaging tests and laboratory tests. Additionally, she will explore the treatment options available for NTM infection, including antibiotic therapy. This video aims to raise awareness about NTM infection and provide viewers with a better understanding of this often-overlooked disease.
