What a night at Fenway Park! Celtics honored and Red Sox give them a wild come from behind, walk-off win. Celtics Nation was DEEP too! This week has just been perfect and the celebration continues. Glad these guys are done with their obligations for now & can spend some much deserved vaca time with their families. The new CBA is meant to curb dynasties. Because much of the core is basically locked in, if this group ends up starting a dynasty, it is very possible that they may be the last team to ever do so.
As I heard on a podcast today. The "second apron" might as well be called "the Steve Ballmer corollary" in the CBA. As it is mostly there to prevent stinking rich owners to just buy their way into championship rosters.

Porzingus played 57 games, 20 ppg, 7 rebounds 2 blocks..one of the most effective in the post and 38% from the 3..a great season by any measure. Look around the league and compare him against any of the starting big men...no worse in regards to availability, and a whole lot more impactful than most. I dont understand the casual questions starting to pop up about him...do your research and youll realize how ridiculous that question is.
They can kick rocks. KP has more championships and played more minutes in the finals in his first year than Joel Embiid's entire career.
I asked the question. Maybe it was wrong question, because (as a latvian) english isn't my native language. KP's health was main question/concerne at the time of trade. And he had 3 serious injuries this season (1 during regular season and 2 during playoffs). And I vividly remember how Mavs media and fans turned on him (bad way), when he got hurt in Dallas.
I still hope we get the #1 seed next year and take the regular season seriously btw I was waiting for a podcast from the duck boat as well 😊

Thanks for the acknowledgement of the great 70's teams. I wore 18 or 81 in every sport I played because of Dave Cowens. Derrick White is as close as we've come to a JoJo White type of point guard. Havlicek, Charlie Scott, Paul Silas, Paul Westfall, we're all greats, with Havlicek deserving his HoF slot.
Let's not forget the remnants of that team became the worst Celtics team of all time under the astute tutelage of Phyllis Brown. Sydney Wicks, Curtis Rowe, Bob McAdoo, and a host of other folks wore green until Bird came along and rescued the team. The Celtics were lucky to draw 4000 in those days. We would sit in the corners so we could bang on the ductwork to create noise. The night Bird showed up to be introduced, the Garden was close to full. Phyllis George was gone and we know the rest.
I think the entire 70s NBA Was So Terrible thing is vastly overstated. I mean, the ABA merger was in 1976. We had peak Dr. J and Kareem. Bill Walton's Blazers. The Sonics and DJ! Hell, even the Knicks were good.
We have full bird rights to luke and x. So we can resign them to comfortable contracts. We have team option and full bird on Hauser. We can claim team on Hauser and decline then sign him for more than the team option on a longer deal. So honestly, we lost Brissett and most likely Svi. Do we promote a two way spot to full like we did Queta? Jd? Drew? Then that leaves one spot. So really 1-2 spots at the end of the bench. Its not going to be a ring chaser old vet...i think we are going for young players on the verge of not playing in the nba...so dont expect any immediate impact.
The biggest difference this year over the previous playoffs is he for the most part ignored and didn’t stop to argue with the refs and not play defense! He used to act just like a Dallas star that I will not name!
if they gave the media a duck boat, you and like 2 others would be the only ones on there that actually liked the Celtics
I have a feeling Walsh is going to be an elite finisher. He does not seem selfish at all.

i think brissy and svi walk. luke and tillman resign. we have 1-2 open spots.
if we draft anyone in the 1st round, they get 1 spot. brad can easily trade out of the 1st round again and get 2 2nd rounders. 2nd rounder, if he gets drafted, gets a 2-way.

if we lose 1 of tillman or luke, i'd want either dario saric or mo bamba as the replacement.

@TheRobversion1 most of those names are not going to take minimum.
@@chemicalhap i disagree. i think a good amount of them are. all of them earned 3M or less last season outside of batum, covington and hayward. batum is old, covington is coming off a severe injury/surgery and hayward as i stated i'm banking on the brad connection.
on the others, the only one really in rumors are highsmith and fontechio. the others are truly fair game for vet min.
dont need all of them to be vet min either. just a couple to fill in the spots brissett and svi would vacate.
@@TheRobversion1 yeah I really think we need a guy that can do what oshae does for us the whole season some piece that can come off the bench and contribute not necessarily a scorer but someone who can pump the energy or a Hussle guy

Tatum needs to keep growing like Brown. I'd say efficiency and seeking contact on drives could be points of emphasis. If this happens and KP gets "healthy" we'll repeat.
I have a bad feeling though that this is all Tatum has ever dreamed of and now he's gonna take a mental vacation.
He's allowed a mental vacation after all the hate talk he's faced. He'll be back to repeat the wins this fall.
