Go to your nearest NCC unit depending on which NCC you want (army/Air/Navy), and apply there. You can also ask for fully send finance scheme, in which complete expense will taken care by college/school, it will be alloted as per the waiting list

You can salute only to the officer who has star on his/her shoulder. For senior cadets you can call them jai Hind Sir/Madam without salute.

Jai Hind mam what is difference between Platoon , squad
A squad is a smaller unit and platoon is bigger unit. A Squad has 10 soldiers and a platoon has 4 squads. Hope it helps.
