You forgot Geisha, she's basically Priestess as a Hunter... walls don't matter at all for her, she can put a butterfly on one side of a building and even if no survivor touches it she can still go to it whenever; there are even specific tricks for her that work to skip the wall aspect of the game..
ngl, i've never had issues with priestess tbh. i dont see her as extremely game breaking. also, shes not the only character in the game that isnt limited by walls. geisha is def not limited by them. she can be annoying but with violetta (my hunter main), i can usually catch up before she places the portal and hit her to cancel it.
You should speak about how cheerleader's exited ability is terrible cause it takes not that much time, but more importantly, it's just a loose more button cause if it makes people who struggle at downing a survivor loose harder
i think a lot of new hunters actually follow this trend as well and i think it goes into an overall issue of power and ability creep which is a whole can of worms
@zaqueb yeah, instead of nerfing or reworking strong abilities they are basically creating new characters to deal with the meta picks however this new characters aren't designed with the consideration that weaker hunters (and most stealth survivors) can't do their thing properly
tangentially related and almost entirely speculative, but do you have any thoughts on say, a theoretical survivor who could create small walls? like an identity switch of mad eyes maybe. florian can kind of do this by using an air bag to clog small openings, but if there was a character who's entire job was to do that, do you think that would be good or bad for the game? or like. how it would have to be balanced to make it work (wall energy regens w/ decoding progress or other specific actions like acrobat?? you can only access the console from cipher machines? hunters could take down walls before they expire naturally with a charged hit or two normal hits like airbags or bees? maybe survivors wouldn't be able to vault them?? that would make vc almost necessary though,,) anyways pardon my ramblings I'm just very excited to find someone who makes this sort of content bc I haven't encountered any until now (or I've just completely missed them)
