- Since my birthday is two days away, I figure that this might be a good time to upload this 1991 episode of Carmen Sandiego.
In this early recorded episode, Vic the Slick steals St. Andrew's Golf Course's 18th hole.

Chief: "Here's the skinny on Vic The Slick. He's a real yapper. He'll talk your ear off and then try to sell it to Vincent Van Gogh."
LMAO!!
I miss this show. Greg was always so funny.
Vic The Slick's suit is light green in the phone tap scene, then it usually is dark green with stripes
you know I have been kind of wondering, where was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before the Museum opened in 95?
At 6:58, I saw Adella’s score change from 60 to 55. How did that happen?
The Loot! Fore! Fore! Fore! Vic the Slick! Fore! Fore! Fore! The Warrant! Vic The Slick!
"Essen" actually means "food."
IsoscelesKramer and it’s in West Germany. Those clues were misleading.
Technically Vic the Slick stole the entire green aside from hole but eh, it's a kid show.
What does Carmen say at 9:02 right before "Vic, I'm not your sweetheart"? "Cheese it"? Can't be "Jesus".
Greg and Lynne and everyone else in this episode seem so nervous. Must have been early days.
I understood "cheese it" as well
Could this have been the pilot? IMDB has no record of this particular episode, it seems a little slipshod compared to the other early episodes, and the ending where audience members are called into the Chief's office is identical (the two people and the two questions) to the ending round of another, later episode (that I watched sometime in the past week...so I don't remember which it was, but it was a 1991 episode). As another commenter pointed out, it looks like the bonus round was taped at a different time, so it would make sense if this "episode" was cobbled together from the original pilot and some other parts filmed later after the series was picked up?
+Allison Lyttle No, the Pilots were the two episodes with a different scoring format.
The intro of the gumshoes and Greg as host was a mess. I agree, this episode is off.
Congratulations on your birthday! How old are you gonna be?
ACME Crimenet I turned 29 on May 15th this year.
Who is the woman in 11:28?
That's Kathy Lee Gifford. Former co-host of 'Live! with Regis & Kathy Lee' (now 'Live! with Kelly & Michael') & current co-host of the fourth hour of the Today Show with Hoda Kotb.
