@@tonyarceneaux286 Shirley had 3 biological sons. David is a step-son who is older than Shirleys sons and has a different mother than Shirley. All have Jack Cassidy as a father.
Yeah, the Mother/Daughter week came later, May 14-18, 1984 to be exact. I've been told that this week of episodes were held in February 1984, I'd say February 22-28, 1984 is what I'm thinking.
I find the "would you change anything in raising your kid(s)" question interesting. In my 61 yrs of life, I've never met a parent that wouldn't do some things, or even only one thing, different, no matter how great their kid turned out. Really? What parent has no hindsight regrets? 🤔 Phyllis was the only one real.
I agree 💯. With that said what I have finally come to understand at 63 is Mother's need to realize that we are not as big a part of the adults our children become as we think. You can be the best Mother possible and sadly barley recognize your Kids as Adults.
It's so easy to do research these days and have the answer within a minute or two. Some questions do appear stupid to me, until I find something stupid/silly, too. I did a google search for 1980s SWAT actor Stephen Forrest. He and wife Christine were on Tattletales a lot. I read he had 3 sons...Michael, Forrest, Stephen. Would his son be known as Forrest Forrest? Perhaps the question of Sanford Sanford doesn't seem so silly now, but found Forrest Forrest quite odd...Would like answer if anyone knows.@@sandybruce9092
This is how you knew tattletales was on the way out. You'd have boyfriend girlfriend week. you'd have soap opera husband soap opera wife week. you had mother and son week. when they got away from the core that made tattletales good, that's how you knew the end was near. And one comment on Johnny olson, he was obviously a legendary announcer in his day, but he was terrible in this show "places please"!
I love these weeks of unique pairs, honestly. It's an interesting perspective. But I totally agree. It's clear that it was on the way out. As much as I like the special weeks, it did stray away from the core
"Places please" might harken back to Olson's old radio show "Ladies, Be Seated", where it begins with the crowd moving around, followed by a come to order with Johnny saying the show's title.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for uploading one of my favorite ever shows.
the host Burt of this show was shirley's love interest in 2 episodes of the partridge family
Yeah he on the show was a candidate.
Shirley Jones is so beautiful ❤️
So Shirley had two biological sons and an stepson. And she worked with the stepson on Partridge Family.
Yes she did
Yes Shirley was a beautiful woman..

She told too much in her autobiography! I didn't need to know about her sex life and when her son had his first wet dream!
When Phyllis Diller did stand-up comedy, she called her husband Fang.
Fang was not her husband..she made him up for the skits
@@estelleschneider9033They appeared on Tattletales in 1974 under the name of Warde Donovan and Phyllis Diller.
Good choice 👍 Mother & Son week 🥰
They should've did Father and Daughter week
YES!!!
Rest in ☮️ Isabel.
Bert, Phyllis,....
Shirley Jones was really beautiful...why did i never notice that??
I noticed when watching Partridge Family reruns when I was a kid...and she's old enough to be my mom.
Bc i was too busy crushing on david cassidy on the partridge family as a kid lol
This should be mother/son week
Thanks for letting me know. I was thinking of a mother/daughter week that actually happened!

Wheezy...named her Son Sanford? He could have been on 'Sanford and Son'. 😎
Isabel Sanford and Son 😁
Yes, his name is Sanford Richmond.
We have a lot of family members in our family tree who were given the maiden names of their mothers.
I thought David Cassidy was Shirley Jones aon
@@barbarafilar5102 no, David Cassidy is her step son. His real mom was a actress who's name was Evelyn Ward. But his dad is Jack Cassidy
Perry looks a lot like his mother.
Was Patrick Cassidy in a TV Show?
Feb 20-24, 1984
Sanford Sanford? Uh..really?
No, his full name was Sanford K. Richmond.

One of the supposed final weeks where Johnny Olsen says at the end
A Mark Goodson-Bill Todman production.

88yr old dif.

February 21, 1984?
Do you mean the taping date or airdate? I predict the airdate may be 4 almost 5 weeks from taping. Taping in February may air sometime near mid March.
