This actually brought tears to my eyes thinking of the heroic actions of the Titanics band playing this as she was sinking knowing full well that they would not survive.
I can’t put it into words on how beautiful this is. Beautiful yet haunting it’s terrifying to think how terrifying the sinking must of been. Rest in peace Titanic and all those souls lost with you 🫡
This will continue to be a piece of art. For decades. Believe me. Though she might dissapear after a few more years, she will always be in our memory. As a former 2015 Oceangate employee, I did not get to see her infront of my eyes, but I sure did get to meet people who got to see it. I had never been in the ocean, and do not wish to be. But this music, I listen to every week. And all the other Titanic remixes. I have watched every movie, and remain a fan of this ship. Keep up the good work and I wish I could donate if I was able too! 👍🏼

A grand luxurious ocean liner with eerie lights luminous towering over the ocean during her final plunge in the black night environment. Recently I saw a violinist on the pier and I requested her to play nearer my god to thee and she played it. The song made me tear up. Your cover was so emotional. As a suggestion, I request the song, Take Her To Sea Mr Murdoch. If you’d like to do that song. It’s the song that’s played when Titanic’s speed goes all ahead full and the scene of open ocean with the engine room and the million dollar shot.

Commonly, it was “Autumn” as the alternate, but many survivors did hear Nearer My God to Thee too. One survivor even said Autumn was first, then Nearer My God to Thee was played.
This scene always got me in my heart and it would go up to ky throat as the tears would fall from my eyes The beautiful song to be played. People were dying in this ship and it was so sad. I can hear this song being played as I go home to Heaven as the angels lead me there.
