I will also be testing out the Rotisserie Chicken Function as my first cooking attempt.
The @Cosori Air Fryer Toaster Oven comes with six accessories, a user manual, and also a recipe book. It measures 20.1in Width, 16.5in Depth, and 12.1in High.
The Cosori 12 in 1 Air Fryer Toaster Oven has twelve cooking functions to choose from. The inside of the oven is very spacious and can fit in 6 slices of toast and also a medium-sized 12-inch pizza, or even a 13 inch Pizza.
My first test was how to Cook Rotisserie Chicken in the Cosori Air Fryer Toaster Oven and also how I cleaned the oven afterward
I tried my best to cover as much detail as possible, however, if you have any questions or comments please be sure to leave them in the comments section and I will try my best to answer them.
I was able to get the Cosori Air Fry Toaster Oven on sale for C$145, so yes, I lucked out, I'm really loving the toaster oven. It's so easy to use and it also looks great on my countertop! Although I can't speak for the longevity of the appliance, since this is the first time I've ever tried a Cosori appliance. Fingers crossed it holds up well and serves its purpose at least for a few years!

I love my Cosori but you're right, the grease goes everywhere when using the rotisserie function. I love the air for our function though and it makes great toast. I've cooked small hams, roasts and countless chickens in it though with perfect performance.

Thank u for being clear about the cleaning of this oven. I didn't hear anyone mention how it is to clean up after rotisserie even before using the oven.

This just saved me from having to open up the manual. I watched a video from "Healthy Kitchen 101" and his method to truss a chicken was impalement. He poked pieces of wood to clamp the loose parts to the body and used twine just tie the bottom of the legs together.

Excellent review! So far the best of the many I have watched.Could it be that the oil under the door is a result of the tighs not being tucked in?
Yes, I believe so, because the second time I cooked it, it didn't drip grease as much.
Can you please show me a picture of the inside of the oven top after you clean it so I won't return my Cosori. I just used it for the 1st time, air fried some egg rolls, ate and then cleaned. NONE of the tiny brown spots came out. I used a non abrasive pad for washing dished with soap and hot water, and I even used an old soft tooth brush to scrub, still NOT WORKING AT ALL! It took 40 minutes to cook the frozen egg rolls, Is it too long? I cooked them in my big regular oven for about the same time. Thanks,
Good day , I just bought this particular Cosori air fryer, my question is I do not hear the fan when I push the button, also when you done cooking how you shut it off.

Excellent review. Much appreciate your posting this. On the oil or grease leaking from the bottom of the door? Would you say that is due to the chicken legs not being properly secured so it was unbalanced in the rotisserie and thus it was pushing grease out to the door. If the chicken had been properly tied do you think you would have had that problem? Thank you so much in advance for your feedback!

Does the LED display turn off off while the unit is plugged in when not in use? Mine won't turn off unless I unplug it, is it supposed to stay on?
Press and hold the bottom knob for 5 secs and the led display should turn off.
6:55pm EST Is there not a permanent Clock on this unit? Also mine is Bluetooth compatible, but I find that feature to be useless. Does your led panel lights go off after a while when not in use?

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the light goes off after 30 mins of inactivity or you can press and hold the dial for 3 secs to turn off the display. There is no permanent clock on this model.
Where does the crumb tray goes below or above the two heating rods?
it goes below the heating rods, almost touching the base of the oven.
I bought one at a thrift store just recently it didn't have the bake pan do you know where I can get that replaced?

Put water in the drip tray when you use the rotisserie to avoid the smoky smell. I haven’t had any dripping. Maybe lower temp and longer cooking time

The Cosori has lots of great features compared to B&D, it has a nice display and of course more cooking functions and a bigger size, which makes it a great choice, but with it also comes a bigger price.
One thing I must say is that, B&D has never let me down. My very first B&D lasted me 7 years and didn't croak, but was just so overused, I felt I needed to change it.
I had actually never heard of Cosori, but I saw this Toaster Oven on Boxing Day sale for $145 Canadian Dollars, so I decided to take a chance. The regular price is $320. I wouldn't have bought it at that price, since I'd never heard of the company. On their website, they give no History of their background or formation other than the have a copyright logo 2017-2021, so that tells me they were established in 2017, I'm assuming. Still a new-ish company!
But since using it, I must admit I am liking it very much, the ease of use, the lights and functions, the user manuals and recipe books included were very helpful. It cooks well 90% of the time, but I think that's something I need to figure out for recipes etc. I just hope it lasts long, I'm skeptical on the durability when comparing it to B&D.

It was only the rotisserie function that I had the problem with.

No.
Can you put a dutch oven in it?
You can use any oven proof dishes, if the dutch is oven safe.

What is the difference between this one and the ceramic one?
The biggest difference Is the burner at the bottom of the ceramic
The ceramic one is ceramic inside, not stainless steel like others. The heating elements both top and bottom are covered. Since the bottom is covered it becomes a burner so you can place an oven-safe dish directly on it and cook. I hope this helps.
Can it connect to Wi-Fi and control it from my phone?
Unfortunately, this model does not have Smart features.
Is there anyway to turn off the beeping sounds? My elderly dog has really bad anxiety and starts trembling whenever it beeps.
Unfortunately, no there isn't.
Does it decrease on utility bill?
It really depends. When compared to using a big main oven yes... but also depends on how often you will cook in it and what you will cook. Some foods may be quicker to cook on stove but may be healthier in air fryer for example.. so you have to weigh your choices .. hope it helps.
Mine started smoking from the inside is this normal ?
If it's white smoke it's ok, if it's black smoke, then you need to perhaps clean the inside, it's possible the grease is burning or something fell on the heating element and is burning.
You need to alert people in your video to clean with the oven unplugged. Also, tin foil can not touch the heating elements. Otherwise, good video.
Is it dangerous if alum foil touches heating element?
Had this a couple of years, then it just stopped heating. It will not even heat a piece of toast now....much less anything bigger.

No, not this one - this is one of the earlier models.

@@MeemReviews Yeah, I had another fryer but I kept reading bad things about the old one I had. It had to do with the type of air fryer with the black lining. So I purchased this one as an alternative. I wish I would have done more research. It was an Amazon prime day purchase, thought I was getting a deal. Guess not

the basket looks hard to clean. any basket not made of round wire is hard to clean. the menu is too extensive, it's just an oven. B&D has one for 70 bucks at walmart, what's the difference?
One of the main things that makes this worth it is that you can use bigger dishes in it and the wire racks are much sturdier.
Imo it tries to do too much but I do appreciate some of the extra modes.
I live in a garage apartment and don't have a full size oven so this completely replaces an oven for me

Unfortunately, you can't set the time and date on this model. That's why you can't find anyone showing it. Hope it helps.

Yeah, it was very disappointing, but the chicken tasted great!
You can get 1 of these chickens for $8 bucks at any grocery store.
Save yourself 2 hrs of cooking, cleaning, and electricity waste 🤣
Not anymore. They are definitely more expensive than they were six months ago even. More importantly, the rotisserie chickens you buy at the grocery store are injected with all kinds of flavors and fats meant to make them juicy, but also make them less healthy. Instead, spend the time making your own, so that you know exactly what went into it.

No, not this model.
There is nothing "air fryer" about this toaster oven. It was the main reason for getting it, very underwhelming. BEAUTIFUL to look at, but overall it doesn't broil well, or air fry well. My previous Bella air fryer was light years ahead of this machine.
Why don’t you just cook the roaster chicken in the pan to avoid that grease mess!
Because this oven has the rotisserie feature, I paid for it, and I want to use it.
