Such a great book haul! You should watch The King (2019). That movie sent me off on a rabbit hunt to learn everything about the history of England. In English schools we learnt it in such a dry fashion it killed history for me. That and Outlaw King made me hunt down every history book I could find in my local charity stores. Cannery Row is so amazing and worth finding. I preferred it to Sweet Thursday. It's one of my favorite short books ever.
