"Put all things to the test: keep what is good." 1 Thessalonians 5:21 - Among other things, to me that is a comfort that even my mistakes are part of God's will in my life, as sometimes that is how we test these things and learn what to reject and what to hold fast to. We don't need to regret, to hold on to the guilt forever. God forgives our mistakes and likewise we can forgive ourselves.

I don't claim to speak for everyone but I am confident that most people who are following you appreciate your perspective on the music and what it means to you and how it relates to your life. All anyone can really do is try and learn lessons from our failures and struggles to do better in the future and it seems like you're headed the right way dude so keep it up. Remember where you started but take a moment to celebrate how far from the beginning you really are from time to time. I feel you. I haven't been shot though - I'm so sorry that happened to you! I'm glad you survived it! I've been robbed at gunpoint, but actually being shot is something entirely different.
U talked about how you thought u would be happy when u got to 1000 subs but then got there and wanted 10,000 then 20,000. This is the mindset of a successful person. Not necessarily a happy person. We all think we want to be the next Elon Musk or whoever but we never consider that these people never take breaks. They wake and sleep thinking about work. They work when theyre on vacation. One thing i know for sure is its better to work for the opportunity to have everything and be unhappy then to not work towards anything and be unhappy. At least with one option you will have the opportunities money buys. If being miserable is inherent, its better to be miserable and wealthy rather than miserable and broke. Youve still got plenty of time to figure out what truly makes you happy. In the meantime make as much money as you can but try and figure out what fullfills you. You dont want to wake up and be 50 without a clue. It's a shame so many people hate to see others take a chance on trying a new way to succeed. If you try you might fail. If you don't try nothing changes. Why would anyone especially family and friends not support someone trying to change for the better?
