    If you go online, take the numbers off the ignition switch and you can still find new old stock Honda keys that match your switch. I’ve done it many times

    • @motorcyclerewind
      @motorcyclerewind  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s what I did and the key did not work. Switch may have been monkeyed with sometime in its life.

      @@motorcyclerewind I’ve been able to disassemble the key switch itself and rearrange the tumblers to match the key. It’s real fiddly and you have to make sure the springs don’t fly out. I was able to make my key work. They only made a few variations of keys for these. If you’ve never done it before be patient.

    Great videos, iv been into these old bikes for years, love the 60s and early 70s bikes. I guess it reminds me of a simpler time.I also go to Barber every year.Did you use all new parts head, cylinder.

    In Canada they were CT 70s.

      Thats what they were in the US also. This one is an ST70 which was a Japanese/European model. Also called the Dax. Thanks for watching!

    Nice video. I learned to ride on a CT70. I don’t remember that bike having those handle bars those. Those things look horrible. I think it had different handlebars.

      @motorcyclerewind  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think the handlebars changed through the years. Thanks for watching.

    CT not St St was a 90

    • @motorcyclerewind
      @motorcyclerewind  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I thought the same thing. Based on the engine and frame number it’s an ST70. The ST70 was called a DAX in European markets. Thanks for watching.
