In my opinion, IRA is a valuable strategy for retirement planning, providing growth and tax advantages. While the market is promising, expert guidance is essential for portfolio management.

I learnt this when I got disabled from an accident, I had to reach out to a financial planner who devised a plan for me to live off dividends from my investments. Other than Disability Cheque, I earn enough from home and live comfortably with her help.

Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Colleen Rose Mccaffery” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Thanks a lot for this suggestion. I needed this myself, I looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.

Managing Money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times, while orders tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too.

Put in growth mutual funds for the long haul.
Investing is a roller coaster ride. You only get hurt if you get off while the ride is going.

Prioritizing effective personal finance management holds greater significance than the sheer amount saved, irrespective of income source. Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.

I don’t think i need a finance advisor. I can manage my own finances and investments. I don’t want to pay someone to tell me what to do with my hard earned cash.

I used to think like you. I thought I knew enough about finance and investing to handle everything myself but then I realize that I was spending too much money and energy on researching, analyzing, and monitoring my finances. I was also overwhelmed by the amount of information and options available. I decided to hire a finance advisor and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. They saved me a lot of time and money, and give me peace of mind.

    Five assets I'll hold forever
One - My house, because it keeps me rent free. That alone saves me a fortune. Paying rent is like setting money on fire... daily. You get nothing in return for it.
Two- A good air cooled inline twin 4 stroke cruiser motorcycle. This thing will keep me mobile in an apocalypse. Easier to work on and cheaper than a car.
Three- Tools, because you always need tools. To build and repair things.
Four- A microwave and a refrigerator, because I h8t3 to cook.
Five- A hot water heater and a shower, because want a nice warm shower every day.
Probably not the assets you were thinking of...

I think you got #1 miscalibrated. You don't live rent free because you own a house. Did you factor property tax, insurance, maintaining it?

    • @choppergirl
      @choppergirl หลายเดือนก่อน

@@axwack I don't pay property tax or insurance. The outside of my home is aluminum siding, which doesn't rot or rust (in a traditional sense of the word rust), and my house has a steel roof, so... nothing really in the way of maintenance necessary.
Perhaps every 10 years a PVC pipe I didn't insulate enough bursts from a freeze, or.. considering it's now 40 years old, I should get up there and derust the roof and give it a good coat of propane alluminum enamel paint... maintenance costs for the house have been trivial. Don't pay for water either, as I have a well pump.
No, if you do it right, you can in fact live almost cost free. My biggest monthly expense by a wide margin is actually.... junk food.

Pete made $67000 in 2005 which is = $107,000 in today's dollars.. so not a regular worker .. a high income worker as the average worker makes $55,000 per year.

Wait till he has a major health issue. He is screwed. My mother had pancreatic cancer and without good insurance it would have drained all of her savings. Imagine how much money he'd have if he had just worked 10 more years and retired at 40. 30 is way too young to retire. Think about it. What are you gonna do all day. Your brain turns to mush.

If you have watched ANY of his videos, he does say that retirement should not mean sitting around all day, but either doing other things you love and working not for the necessity of money but for purpose.
