I started using packing cubes last year when I went to Disneyland for the first time and yes they are life savers, totally worth it! I hope you vlog your Alaska Cruise so wanted to see 🙈
loved your video. really helpful as i'm going on an Alaska cruise on 7 september 2024...from Australia, so need advice as to what to wear etc.,, I did watch another video, but the clothes were so Ulitarian and basic, depressed me, your video was more like what I 'd want to wear, you are a fashion concious but with good advice at the same time... I love dressing a bit upmarket for dinner somettimes and you convinced me to take this 'party' shoes ...thankyou...Joanne from Australia
Thanks for mentioning the mirror. I am almost finished packing for my very first cruise and I forgot my mirror. It's a magnifying compact style lighted mirror that I use every day when I travel. It would have been a big problem if I had forgotten it. Probably couldn't have replaced it in Alaska. Thanks so much. I enjoyed your video.
@noelgraff2012 my first trip was Oct 7 2021. I packed like I was gonna freeze to death. I didn't even wear my heaviest coat. Like I'm sure you heard, layers is key. Good rain cost will be a necessity. I brought duck boots but next time I would just bring water resistant shoes and have dry socks with me in ports.
Would love to hear more about the trip! And about the suitcase you use 😄 Im looking to get a better suitcase, but I heard some people dont get the priciest because some airline workers end up just tossing all the luggage around anyway 😅
more to come on second channel! and as for the suitcase, I actually used a softer one (not the hard one you see in the thumbnail) since that helps it weigh less and feel lighter. the most important thing for me is that the 4 wheels at the bottom can spin and roll smoothly so I think it's worth investing in one of those such as a Samsonite. we got my parents a new suitcase but I need to get one eventually hehe I just used a beat up one that rolled smoothly ☺️
Great video - super helpful! Where can I find the checklist you showed? Thx!!
