"ඔහු මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය වලට ඇබ්බැහි වුණා" කියන්න "He addicted to drugs කියල නොකීවට මෙන්න මෙහෙම වාක්‍ය හදන්න පුලුවන්. He addicted himself to drugs; He has addicted himself to drugs. මම මේ වැඩසටහනේදි මතක් කළා Addict කියන වචනයේ ඇබ්බැහි වෙනවා කියලා අදහසක් නෑ. ඒත් ඇබ්බැහි කරව ගන්නවා කියන අදහස තියනවා. ඉතින් He addicted himself to drugs කිව්වම ඔහු තමන්ව ඇබ්බැහි කරව ගත්තා කියන අදහස එනවා. "himself"දාපු එකෙන් මේ වාක්ය නිවැරදි වාක්‍යයක් බවට පත් වෙනවා. මේ වගේ වාක්‍ය සාපේක්ෂව භාවිතා වෙනවා අඩු නිසා සහ අනික් වඩාත් වැදගත් Everyday Sentence patterns එක්ක මේවා පැටලවෙන්න ඉඩ තියන නිසා මේ වගේ පොඩි පොඩි කරුණු මේ වැඩසටහනේ ඇතුලත් කරේ නැහැ.
