- UPDATE: In many case reports, clinicians have used ZINC (Zinc sulfate 220mg once daily for 5 days) along with HCQ and they have found good results with the combination.
Hi guys. Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine are oral prescription drugs that have been used for treatment of malaria and certain inflammatory conditions. Nowadays there are case reports or trials suggesting the use of Chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine alone or in combination with Azithromycin
In this video, we will talk about when & how to use, side effects, dosing and various studies on these medications in COVID 19 or SARS COV2. Do watch the video till the end.
Recently randomized study from China in patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 found no difference in recovery rates.
These drugs should be used only for:
1. treatment of COVID 19 positive patients
2. as prophylaxis for Asymptomatic healthcare workers involved in the care of suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 and also for Asymptomatic household contacts of laboratory-confirmed cases
Physicians should educate themselves about the strength of available data regarding HCQ and CQ in treating COVID-19. They should avoid misuse of HCQ and CQ for the prophylaxis of COVID-19, because there are absolutely no data to support this.
Recently there have been reports of the use of ivermectin an antiparasitic agent in the treatment of COVID-19. It's not proven yet. I will come up with a new video if any update in the treatment or management comes. Till then take very good care of yourself and our loved ones, take appropriate precautions, like good hand washing, refrain yourself from going to market places or crowded places.

I am so glad you are okay. And in 70 years of using HCQ worldwide the main side effect reported was bad dreams or depression among people with Malria with high fevers and sweats. It is likely anyone with high fever and sweats would have bad dreams and be depressed.
Doctors have said more people have died from Tylenol than HCQ. And definitely more than Aspirin.

Thank you Dr. for a very good discussion. Regarding the treatment, indications are that best treatment efficacy is if the treatment is started within 5 days of symptom onset. Zinc is a primary factor in achieving greatest benefits. And, for those who can't take azithromycin, or might have issues with it, doxycycline is showing good results as an alternative to azithromycin.

In Turkey, it being used against covid 19 patients, they were being used for intensive care patients, but now for patients that are positive. they say yesterday the drug treatment is the key for the low rate of mortality,within 2 weeks, i believe, we will see the exact results. I would not recommend anyone to use without doc. prescription.

I don't need medication for a virus that barely exists.
Experts say one of the largest risk factors in catching the virus and getting sick by it is zinc deficiency. So by taking a bioavailable form of zinc and having it on hand puts you ahead of the pack right out of the gate.
HCQ is prescription Zinc ionophore in the USA but over the counter in many other nations. But here are other forms of Zinc Ionophores including. Zinc Orotate and Zinc Citrate.
If you just take plain zinc most of is just washes out of your system. Zinc has to be bound to other proteins or ingredients before your cells will let them in. This is why eating zinc rich foods with bioavailable zinc is a good idea for some people. Zinc rich foods include. Sunflower seeds, Oysters, Sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds. Do a search if you like.
It is just good to comprehend two things.

I take 1 tablet of hydroxychloroquine a week, together with 1-2 tablets of zink every day, and have done this 5 weeks by now. I think the world already have enough evidence for such a combination. I understand the need for further research, on the other hand I tend to agree mostly with S Korea who just decided to use it, since the cost of not using it is so high.
I agree I think you are not hurting a thing. It is a safe drug at those doses. Everything I have looked at shows it can help.

You left out Zinc which is a key to make the HQC work.
Medications especially in high doses such as 400mg can affect organs. Lab tests help doctors to monitor the progress of the medication in the body and disease. activity. Lab Work is somewhat of a map for doctors to see what the inner workings of the body.

Rushing towards an answer prior to proper research and testing before human trials can be disastrous. As of April 14, 2020 studies of HCQ failed and in some cases people died at a staggering rate due to complications of the drug and not the coronavirus. While it’s important to have studies during this time, rushing can have disastrous results. I’m not ruling HCQ out but way more testing needs to be done before attempting human trials again.

After taking the loading dose of hcq on first day.....when will the weekly dose start???just next day or we have to give few days gap???
Let me explain you with an example.
Let's say you have taken 400mg on Monday at 9am. 2 nd dose to be taken on the same day at 9pm (i.e 12 hours apart).
Next dose (3rd) to be taken on next Monday.

Is there an alternative treatment for people who are allergic to these medications?
Recently, FDA approved Ivermectin for the treatment of COVID. But still, limited data to support this. I'll upload a video soon on this drug too
Could we not simply look at medical records of the over 1 million people who have contracted (and/or died from) COVID-19 since Jan. 2020 to determine how many had been taking hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) for a pre-existing auto-immune disorder… in addition to focusing on countries with malaria?

My very IL mother has been taking this for years. She w as told she would die from kidney damage due to alcoholism mixed with severe Diabetes. Because of severe e rheumatoid arthritis she has been giving hydrox..... quin. And she has never been hurr in any way, not until she got the JAB. Now she sick. How sad. I tried warning her. But she took it anyway. So, so sad to die from a shot after all she as overcome. .. she is 58years old, she was given a year to live fifteen years ago, she has overcome so much, and the shot is killing her. I would expect some people who take HCQ have gotten sick from COVID-19, but that doesn't negate the benefit of HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE+Zinc in COVID-19 cases. As the video explains the drug interferes with viral replication. So, HCQ+zinc is not going to *prevent* COVID, but rather weaken the COVID virus's ability to spread to new cells, you so that your body's immune system can mount an effective response and not get overwhelmed, as it does with the common cold virus. I've read it's important to start HCQ+Zinc as soon as symptoms show to interfere with viral replication. If you wait until someone is overwhelmed by COVID it's too late for HCQ to have an effect, hence those studies that show giving HCQ to late stage patients isn't effective. It makes sense that it wouldn't be effective because the virus has already replicated to the point the body is overwhelmed. Hope this makes sense and do you own research and talk to your doctor to confirm everything you read/hear/see online.

Zinc appears to be the magic bullet. But if you pop a zinc tab your body mostly ignores it and eliminates it. It needs an escort protein to unlock the cell walls and enter.
