Sir, I have to tell you that in these times of formated, overcolorised videos circulating in your field and it's surroundings in these here parts, your simple, yet crispy squeaky clean composition and color palette is a breath of fresh air. You have detoxed my eyes, I feel 5 years younger :)
Great tips, thanks. I'll add one if I may - swipe from right to left on the screen during recording and you will see an EV slider to alter exposure during the shot.
@@thatjacobaaron Well, it is supposed to provide cinematic motion blur - is that what you are seeing? But I guess cheap and nasty ND filters could cause degradation of the image.
not just motion blur. It feels like the color balance and overall quality of the inew videos are mids compared to crispy out of camera settings. @@Ozpeter
I don’t know why I already owned one yet I’m still watching all related vids instead of using it out😂😂 and all I could say is DJI Pocket 3 is indeed a great vlogging camera, definitely 🫶🏼🫶🏼 it 😘
@@mcmach1 Better than the best reports. Works great! Highly recommend it. For the purpose it works wonderfully. Lots of good feedback from most creators.
What is the continuous recording time? Does the camera stop recording or shuts off after a certain time of recording like some pointing shoot cameras do? I noticed not one single person mentioned that in their review
nice video.. I had the DJI Pocket 2 for years for filming my stage and street shows.. I then got the Intr360 Ace Pro.. Not happy with it.. Moving back to DJI Pocket 3 now.. Thanks for the tips
Thanks for the tripod tip. This will be clutch, the current tripod I’m using is bulky and not as user friendly as this one. It is actually on sale now for $16. With shipping it’s $21. Thanks for the tip, I get my Pocket 3 tomorrow.
When you turn off the OP3 with 1 filter on (Freewell brand); does not allow to close to original off position. Some people may not be bothered by this i’m certain. Other brands are thinner and allow to get back to off position with 1 filter on.
It's pretty amazing actually. I've mostly just played around with it to get the controls down and all that. Fixing to take it on a trip to Mexico here coming up in April. Should be great
Can you use the DJI mic 1 wirelessly with the pocket 3 or is that just the mic 2 and we would have to use a mic cable? Also, are you able to use the mic 1 and the mic 2 together? Thanks! 🙂
Now if I could only figure out my main problem, I press the mic button to turn on the mic, it vibrates the blue light lights up and then a moment after I release the button it shuts off. At first I thought perhaps the mic was low on elect. since I don't use it much so I hooked up the link from the mic to the camera it says the mic has 100% power and now it works, until you unhook the power then it goes off. I hooked the mic to my computer for power and it works but as soon as I unhook the power the mic shuts off! Can you solve this one?
Respected sir … i just recived my osmo pocket combooo … do i have to use filters ???? I have no idea about any camera im making vedios with my i15pro … this iosmo i recvied as a pending payment due .. from someone
Appreciate the video. Is it possible to connect pocket 3 to zoom H1n? I’m planning to do some field recording using zoom h1n and use pocket 3 for the video and trying to see if it’s possible to do this at the same time rather than combining the audio and video in post. Thanks!
It works with the Action 2 and I would expect it to work with the Pocket 3. Just put the recorder into USB mode and connect to the usb c port of the camera. If you turn on the audio backup option you can record from the Zoom at the same time as the internal mics and choose the one you want when editing.
I would REALLY like to see an extension that has a phone mount. A) We don't have direct connect anymore, which isn't too bad - but B) Whike the display, at 2 inches is substantially more useable for framing. But it is STILL A 2 inch display.
I own the DJI Osmo Action 3 and want to upgrade (especially for low light footage) Which camera would you suggest between the AcePro and the Pocket 3??? I can always use my Action 3 for water activities.... But for my regular VLogging... I'm trying to decide between the 2 I mentioned... Thanks in Advance
Be aware that the Pocket 3 is not an action camera. So think hard about the tool you need for the videos you make. Then decide whether an action camera or a gimbal camera is best for you.
@@Ozpeter You're absolutely correct... since already owning the Action 3, I think that the Pocket 3 would be better for my basic VLogging needs.but I love the features of the Ace Pro... and it's price point... I love my Action 3 too, but the lowlight/night footage is just disappointing even at 24fps with stabilization off..and I Always shoot in Auto... @@FlytPath that’s a shame, I want the 32 bit float and I guess I’ll continue to use my 32 bit lavs and my shotgun mic for a clean audio track to sync in post until then. I was hoping with the drop in price on the DJI mics that they were getting ready to release the 2nd version since they have this version with the pocket 3
Your instructions regarding the 32bit float where you need to press record on the Mic 2 itself is incorrect. There is no need to press record on the mic for flat, just set it on the settings

Do you have any idea how to cover the 3 microphones on the Pokcet 3, so that you still get good recordings, but are free from a lot of wind noise.

How did you get another mic?
When charging the battery pack can I just leave the battery pack attached to the Pocket 3 so I can charge both?
Yes. The pack will charge the pocket and the plug will charge the pack.
Where can I get the second MIC 2 from? Can't find anything on the DJI Webpage. So it seems that you can't get a separate MIC 2, can you?
Mic 2 is not sold separately at the moment. I’m not sure when they will be putting that online.
