Imagine having someone pound for pound stronger than anyone in the company who finishes a match after having his teeth shoved into his face and not knowing how to push him. Not to mention, the guy has charisma and was over as hell
For me it’s a lack of desire to be in the main event spot of his character. Just think about it, finally after all those years we got Cesaro running for that world title during his feud with Roman, i believe we were all excited. But then i couldn’t remember shit, not even one single line about why he want to win, why he deserves to be here. He failed once during the Paul Heyman guy period, yet he failed again. It’s better to call it right there and move on, if i was Vince i would do the same thing tbh
I liked Cesaro as in ring performer but let's be honest this guy never could cut a promo to save his life and all those years in WWE he never showed much charisma. He could not connect to wider audience and he didn't have a intresting character.

When looking at some of the guys who were crowned World Champion, I believe that Cesaro could have been a World Champ for a bit, but he certainly wasn't failed by the WWE - dude had a lot of success, especially as a Tag Champion.
Not watching this video but the short answer is that they didn’t. Cesaro isn’t good enough at anything other than in-ring to succeed in the mainstream. He should have stayed on the indies and he wouldn’t have had to run back there when he couldn’t cut it on the mic.

Claudio is a midcarder in AEW only because he's 43 years old and he has/had many better wrestler above him (MJF, Ospreay, Kenny, Danielson). If he joined AEW at its first/second year of birth, surely he would be higher in the rankings.

Cesaro really is a one of a kind guy, his strength should have given him at least a world title push. It could have been only a few months like 2. If his promo skill was not up to snuff, just give him a good manager it would have been ok! Vince had no idea what to do. HHH would have done him right

When i was a kid n used to watch every wwe tv show ever i always hated cesaro ngl but at the same time i always watched his matches and always wondered what happened to him so im glad to see this video
I forgot since leaving WWE he has already been a 4 time AEW world champ! Tony is the one that knows how to book for US SICKOS! 💀
Nothing new, WWE is known to bury talents
Loved The Real Americans theme song
Hope we comes back to wwe
I don't think wwe gave up on cesaro
He's an excellent worker but to be a main event player you need more than in ring skills, He's not good with the mic and doesn't seem to have any real charisma
He's an upper mid carder at best
(NB : Not everyone can be a world champion )
With huge promos and mic skills Kofi Kingston and Big E became champions. Its simply internal politics that is not completely known to outside.
@@muraliveloor3908 Unfortunate that midcarders like Kofi became Champion
I still feel like Cesaro’s WWE run was pretty good for what it was despite not being a main event player for most of his career. He went there, won a lot of money and entertained the fans.
When looking at some of the guys who were crowned World Champion, I believe that Cesaro could have been a World Champ for a bit, but he certainly wasn't failed by the WWE - dude had a lot of success, especially as a Tag Champion.
Cesaro is walking proof that being the best, being amazing is just not enough
Not watching this video but the short answer is that they didn’t. Cesaro isn’t good enough at anything other than in-ring to succeed in the mainstream. He should have stayed on the indies and he wouldn’t have had to run back there when he couldn’t cut it on the mic.
Let’s see your match tape then.
facts. Sheamus saved his career in 2016 when they formed the Bar.
I completely forget about this guy....He is one of the best well performed wrestler i have seen.....they shouldn't have released him...
Man it’s shame they didn’t pull the trigger on him he was fantastic on in ring. And can put on a match yeah I agree with fans he lack with mic skills but he literally had Paul heyman with him to help
Classic Vince😭
There is a big hope for him.
They didn't fail him. He refused to grow and improve. Look at Zayn & Owens. They were willing to learn and grow.
That’s bs. He literally kept improving both in ring and on mic. This comment makes zero sense when booking is what matters 70% of the time
And also they were booked better under triple h
Kevin owens was hardly on tv as much in 2021-2022 same with Sami until triple h gave them way more tv time
I mean in this very video Vince said cesaro should stop trying to be better because it made him more popular how delusional can you be?
@@dxov1597 No he didn't. Go look at how awful his Mic skills were in the lead up to his match with Roman Reigns for the Title. They literally had to have Daniel Bryan be his spokesperson until he left WWE for AEW. Seth had to carry him on the Mic before their match at WM. He is great in the ring no doubt. But kept fumbling when given a chance to progress. Hence why he kept getting shoved into Tag Teams. His best work you could argue is his work in "The Bar". He works best in a Tag Team. Just like it was when he was in the Indies with Chris Hero. He just isn't the guy. Look how not even Tony Khan can make him a Main Eventer
@@dxov1597 Kevin & Owens were hardly on TV in 2021 & 2022? Now I know you're reaching. Weren't they both involved with The Bloodline and feuding with each other?
He was one of my favourite superstar
One of the strongest wrestler 💪🏻
In my opinion…Cesaro was Most Definitely 1 of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE History. He was 1 of my favorite wrestlers & he really had that Gunther potential. 💯💯💯 I will say that I Loved his team up with Sheamus…but I feel like they should’ve at least gave him a run with the Intercontinental & U.S. championships’ more since they didn’t give him a run with the world championship. 💯
Wwe was the Vince McMahon show if Vince didn't see it or like it u gets no where. He simply didn't see Cesora as much.
Cesaro is become more successful if he is in Triple H era
Do "how wwe failed John Morrison"
next please 🙏
The Cesarian Section🔥🔥🔥
I really wanna see Cesaro vs Gunther match
he did better in WWE than aew keeping it real
Vince didn't used Cesaro potential properly and aew tony Khan doesn't know how to run a wrestling company and it causes Cesaro
Yeah always blame others ... Cesaro couldn't able to become main eventer in 2 top companies and we should blame companies right? 😂😂
If he can’t become a main eventer its his fault
Man i miss Cesaro
I mean, how could they push a man with that haircut? 😆😆
Claudio is a midcarder in AEW only because he's 43 years old and he has/had many better wrestler above him (MJF, Ospreay, Kenny, Danielson). If he joined AEW at its first/second year of birth, surely he would be higher in the rankings.
I wish to see cesaro vs ghunter for the world title, I think this new wwe era would use much better cesaro but I think vince was right, cesaro always as one of my favourite wrestlers, but not for his mic skills but for his in ring performance
Lowkey remind me of Gunther wrestling ability wise
Gunther is a better wrestler than Cesaro. All Cesaro did was Spam uppercuts and swing
It would be better if WWE had treated him fairly and better , because wasting the years on the square circle .
It is not a good time to go through the older side , since Claudio is 43 .
Cesaro really is a one of a kind guy, his strength should have given him at least a world title push. It could have been only a few months like 2.
If his promo skill was not up to snuff, just give him a good manager it would have been ok! Vince had no idea what to do. HHH would have done him right
100%, how could they have fumbled Heyman/Cesaro duo smh...
@@Wrestleologyidiot they gave him chance they wanted him to succeed that's why they paired hymen with cesaro but it wasn't working... Everyone can't be Brock Lesnar
Cesaro should have had a Gunther like run. The man can go!
Caesaro is this generations Sean o haire..
Cesaro vs gunther would go hard.
They actually had a match, but it was at some house-show
The way Vince wasted Claudio is criminal. And TK is wasting him even worse! Claudia should have gone to tna. At least there he would have gotten a proper push and treated like a real main event star.
It's always everyone else's fault.
Maybe it's your fault for overrating him.
I mean like he couldn’t even speak on the mic
He had all the tools as an in-ring wrestler but he was lacking at charisma and mic skills and his character was just alright but not that interesting so in that case ion think he was already world champion material. But he was good enough for multiple ic title runs and some more us title runs for sure
i'm not shure about the worldtitle in WWE - but only one midcardtitle run as us champ is not the best - he should've been a multiple time US and /or IC champ - even in the vince-era
This guy is very strong
Cesaro should’ve been what Gunther is now. Not in terms of being a forever champion because that shits never good-but just a hard hitting matt master that WWE gets behind because the Universe is behind him, lack of mic skills be damned.
He should’ve been a world champion time and time again.
Gunther is taller and more imposing.
what the fuck has AEW done with him?... even less
I miss Tyson Kidd
he's a producer
Dude, Cesaro it's a good wrestler, it has it all, I'd pay a ticket to watch him wresle. So, with that in mind, I just want to say I don't see him as a main event wrestler, not for WWE or AEW at least, maybe some indy company, maybe even TNA. But "the WWE main eventer make money" wrestler, he's not.
WWE failed him, sure, no doubt, but WWE didn't failed him as making him main event, he just doesn't have the look for the main event of any WrestleMania o PPV, Royal Rumble, you name it
When he leaves AEW I hope he returns to WWE
Well Vince is now getting used left right and centre well deserved.
Whats he doing in AEW again???
Respect where it deserves but I've never heard a single person I know say, "I like Cesaro" lmao.
Am I the only one that thinks he looks like Jason Statham
Cesaro needs to take acting classes that would help his craft
