Thanks for the video. Question: [@14:22] You are using single brick family - not repeating details - to place you brick course. Is there a way to tag repeating details of a brick this way? Thanks for the feedback.
ive been creating the details directly from the model, creating a "detail" type callout. one problem I have is being able to align the cropped regions on the sheets. I think in drafting view it works like he said with reference planes, but in model view/callouts the only thing that connects in order to align are the grid lines that are part of the model not the annotation
Thanks Brian and Nicholas, was interested in Brian's approach of a taggable detail item over the model (for example with the insulation) would be interested in Both of your thoughts on using material tagging instead of over detailing, for example use a mortar joint detail to the wall but tag the brick material, likewise with the insulation add the insulation line but tag the material. are there any pros/ cons to this?
I am new to Revit and would love to learn the way Brian uses components in detail to allow for auto text with leaders like show. But being new to Revit I have no idea where to start. Can you point me in a direction to start, Brian do have how to videos for new bees?
This convo was pure gold. Brian dropped SO many gems! Thanks Nic'
Thank you guys, I am not into details but so many golden pieces were mentioned here. Great episode!
Thanks for sharing so many tips, Brian.
Thanks for the video.

Love this channel, love the videos! What’s the name of the track at the beginning of the video?
It is a custom track made by an artist called "Ile Flottante"

Brian uses tags on these components, not text. Check out our BASICS package of you're getting started 😉
wooop woop
Hi from Bulgaria
If you want to have the same details in each project, why don't you add the drafting views to the template?
Hi, Haroon from Brampton

Terrific content...too fast for me to follow all of it, but there is a pause button for a reason.
