Marit Bjoergen is just a great sportswoman.Congrats! Many specialists claim that she can be one of the best athletes in the history of skiing and I really agree with them. But at the same time you can't simply deny being equally marvelous sportsman when it comes to Justyna Kowalczyk...:)Please, don't get me wrong and don't take it personally;) I'm glad we can simply admire their mutual rivalry.It seems to me winter skiing would be a little bit boring without Kowalczyk,don't you think?:) Regards
There's no point in comparing Therse, Justyna and Marit with Heidi. Sorry, but the three are definitely the best athletes in cross-country ski world and regardless of it, they endeavour to be even more incomparable. I don`t state Heidi is weak, no...but to be honest - she is a `discovery` of previous season. I wish the three earlier-mentioned queens would share olympic medals between themselves. :)
@@atiboyful Sundling is in shape of her life. Best all rounder by far. Future belongs to her, and especially Frida Ebba & Nepryaeva. I also expect Hennig & Fossesholm to rise soon. Stepanova could be very solid. Also Lin Svahn,ofc! Not sure if she'll comeback next season we shall see. But in my opinion,these 4 (Natalia,Ebba,Frida,Jonna) gonna be the leading figures of xc skiing from next season. Btw, do u really think Bjoergen would stand a chance in 2016/2017 & 2017/2018 season if queen Johaug was there? I doubt it... She definitely got robbed of 2 seasons during her prime. Huge amount of luck for Marit,Heidi,Ingvild and others in that period. Since her comeback in Ruka 2018, she's won like 42 out of 50 distance races or so! I'm sad she didn't want to invest at least one more year, I am sure she would beat the field once again in Planica next year.
@@atiboyful also,what do u think of Weng's and Oestberg's chances next year? Their nemesis and team mate is officially retired. Also some veterans like Kerttu & Krista could profit from her absence,no doubt. U have to feel for Ingvild & especially Heidi,she's always been in Marit & Therese's shadow in last almost 10 years... It must hurt a lot. She has more than 100 podiums in her career which is quite impressive stat. She's the biggest Johaug's victim no doubt.
@@jovonikolic6672 Weng and Oestberg are ?? marks in my opinion. If Frida can somehow manage her health going forward, I think she is the favorite going forward! Ebba and Jessie will give her a run for her money going forward...
First and foremost I would say that I come from Norway! What I think is most unfair currently is this: All other countries are allowed to be good in a sport but Norway are not allowed to win cross country skiing. if we win almost all of the medals, then it becomes paranoia. Everyone gets pissed, just because that we are the best in the sport. But the USA who are good at snowboarding does not get criticism. Kenya does not get criticized when they win in running and it gets neither Austrian Empire when the right to delete crushes the others jump. But Norway gets darn not take a victory in the sport, otherwise click most of the other nations and the International Ski Federation (FIS) is totally nervous wreck. Remember that Norway coach almost twice as much as the others, has another extraordinary arrangements and equipment. I can also prove through a TV program on a Norwegian TV channel! It is called
