I got tired of the chaos with libraries for RN and the way I had to work with the native behavior (drag and drop, oauth2 authentication, linking, etc.). And there were many cases when libraries were incompatible after even a minor update of RN version. I had to spend so much time tweaking RN instead of developing the app. Maybe I was just not patient enough :D
@@nappingbun Got it. I have a solid experience in React Native and started to learn Swift recently, I wanted to know how much and how fast you caught up with Swift coming from JS
@@ChillRythms14 actually, since I am a backend developer + have knowledge of JS, it was pretty smooth switching, as most concepts were already not new for me. Maybe, I spent some time trying to learn how to use guards and how to use background tasks correctly, but if you know RN, it won’t be difficult for you!
