Supplementary Damage stacks with the supplementary damage from buffs, like Ferry or Percival. If you equip one Supplementary Sigil and use the buff, you'll notice that some hits get a extra damage even higher, and that is the damage with both supplementary effects, making these and others characters with this buff even better for this sigil.
By extra damage do you mean an extra percentage hit or higher than damage than if just buff

You will not getting like 3 different numbers on one hit, you'll get the normal 2 numbers but the Supplementary one will be higher than normal if it procs with the Supplementary Sigil AND the Buff of your skill. Its just add the two effects one inside the other so its literally double damage, a simple 2+2=4 basically

300 curios box opened from Vulkan 0 Supp Damage 0 War elemental , i did 30 Runs on the normal goblin had a supp damage IV my first one ( i think the curios box is just fully RNG)
300 is still a very low sample size, variance with this kind of RNG is sky high. I do believe this video is on the money with this one, but it still requires RNG of course.

I just happened to be doing that inferndile quest just for some merits and saw that it dropped curios, gonna keep doing that if vulkan don’t work out as much
Thanks! I was (and still am) a bit skeptical about the supposed "bias" but this is indeed a good stage for end game AFK farming. Found out that I was able to complete AFK farm this stage by putting my strongest char on AI and stack myself with tons of defensive sigils (since it's maniac difficulty, assist mode is disabled). Let's see if the bias is true :)
How do you put main char on AI?

Rackam is an extremely good character to use for afk farming
@@zlatIIX just means that put the character in any slot but one, meaning they will be controlled by AI. In maniac mode, the player controller character cannot do anything even in assist mode, that's why I stack Aegis, Auto-revive and low profile, and wait for my other 3 AI to finish the job. This is the essence of AFK farming method. On Extremely or lower, assist mode does work, but maniac or above makes farming certain end-game items much faster
I managed to get my first War elemental from a curio that I got from this quest as well.
It prob was the run where I managed to kill Vulkan in around a minute due to link attacks and IO's paralysis (rando team btw) and got the highest rating, which makes me wonder if mission rating has anything to do with it.
My other attempts weren't that lucky and in the end, the curios didn't give me anything too surprising.
Farmed 50 boxes from this today, over a longer period of time/extensive session...... got nothing. Zathba isn't too fond of me trying to sweet talk him into giving me the war elemental sigil it seems! He was nice enough to give me a supp. damage IV+ though(with a horrible extra stat on it)
it's all depends on luck. i don't even know zathba menu exist, and i got war elemental, sup dmg V, and supp dmg IV+ (the other traits is kinda meh tho) at the same time, good luck when you grind again
edit: and yes, i grind the hell of vulkan bolla because how many i need his orb and anima for all my dmg cap sigil, so without knowing i did what arekkz say in this video
Try this out. I tested this theory and it might work. Go and fight the firewyrm proud and fight until you get a damage Vcap drop and then go zapta and appraise your curio. I got two war elemental in a span of 20 mins. Going to test it out some more but I farm curio for a long time and didn’t get any war elemental until I gave this a try.

I just want to add to the data that I had afk farmed up roughly 350 curios on the lower difficulty next hot topic. Haven’t gotten one war elemental or supp 5. Only gotten supp 4+. Maybe just my luck. Probably going to try the harder difficulty one next.
My 1st time beating him on maniac yesterday I got supplementary V sigil.
I got a Supplemental Sigil from picking up a Curio off the ground in Seedhollow.
Im surprised this actually worked for me too. Makes you wonder if there is a stage to that drops supp+ more often

I farm this guy a lot backdays to lvl my damagecap sigils V, and eventually i end with 3 elemental wars.
Then i play a lot of endgame, more than 100h, without geting a single one more.
2 days ago i need one of his tails material and kill him around 8 times again for it T_T... and yesterday when i unlock the curio i had 1 more!
So maybe, just maybe, this can even work :o still rng probably... i try yesterday the rainbow slime farm with full assist mode and had no luck, but a guy share a screenshot in discord where he had 2 of him in the same round, so who knows T_T
just do maniac quest genereal goblin and golem in maniac diff, i got like seven or more war elemental yesterday

roll of the die is basically RNG damage. You can potentially do a 999,999 damage hit, regardless of whether you have damage cap sigils or not. It also makes any other damage sigils you have pointless though since you are going to see a sea of one's and a few 40k's sitting on a boat. I have hit a training dummy for 5 minutes and the highest number I have seen is 40 k which is my current damage cap anyway. The sigil seems like a huge meme tbh, probably something like 80% chance to do the same damage you would already do with damage cap sigils, 29% chance to do 1 damage, and 1% chance for damage to do 999,999 lol. I am not surprised none of these guide videos ever mention it, from my experience it sucks and is only suitable for trading vouchers lol
You can also afk farm Hellfire if you are strong enough…
Ok so I just happen to be farming this specific quest for awakened weapon, and i got it from a curiose I definitely got from Vulkan Bolla. I also got a Vulkan Bolla Anima with this batch so the theory that the mob u farm curioso on affects the loot seems to make a lot of sense

Can you get supp sigil from transmarvel?
No. You can only get awakened sigils as uniques from transmarvel. War Elemental, Supp Damage, Berserker, Healthy Greens, Rolling Dice, etc all come from curios
I played 110 hours and didnt get a single WE or SD. Started to farm this for 40 runs no luck. Death, Taxes, and Goblins quest is where i got my luck. In about 120 runs (70 actual runs 50 afk runs) i got 4 WE, 2 SD, 2 SD+. You can still afk farm with 3 characters if they are strong enough and still get S++ or S+
Curios are not completely RNG if you save and reload your appraisals you will get the same sigils regardless. Curios are a set reward when you get the drop so the question is which quests can give you the rare drops.
you need to do another quest to reset the rng of any types of pulls. maybe the quest you to do reset affects the seed for rng
@@dermil So I tried doing a quest to reset the rng of my collected curios and still got the same predetermined set. The drop of each curio is set the moment we get them it seems.

I have 90 hours in this game and have not gotten it. watched this video and went to farming and in about 30 min i got war elemental. are we all crazy or is it true lmao.

I just wish there was an easier way to farm for Silver Centrums, these Terminus weapons require so much of em lol.
Killing the maniac mode Skelton bosses is good, they can drop them and you can trade their axes in at the trader for centrums
I decided to farm the golem boss cuz he drops silver centrums and he drops the exceptional refiniums. Both materials are key ingredients in awakening your terminus weapons. A good build with ai bots, you can kill it in 2 minutes. My Id build with ai bots I can get the kill in under 1 min.
well its kinda true based on my exp. that vulkan bolla is the one i was hunting the whole time to upgrade my damage cap sigils. appraised 100 curio boxes and boom. got 2 supplementary damage and war elemental.
What is the purpose of silver centrum?
You upgrade your Ascension weapon and Terminus weapon with it. I think you need a total of 41 for the Terminus weapon to get it from 0 to max ascension.
It's also necessary to upgrade high-end sigils and for some of the later weapon uncaps. Essentially, you need it to upgrade everything at endgame.
Trust me your going to need a lot of it if u plan on maxing out you character

I think this actually works. I see some people claiming curios are totally RNG but I don't think that is the case for a few reasons.
1. If you get a curios early game, it will usually give you common sigils like tier 3 and such whether you open it when you get it or you wait till level 100 proud difficulty to open it. However I never see those sigils now I am in proud difficulty and have only new curios boxes.
2. What you said in the video about doing a couple of dozen runs and seeing both sigils multiple times
3. Curios is the only thing you cannot reroll, if you save game before spending msp on over mastery, or knickback vouchers you can return to title and reload game. It will still give you the same items or over mastery rolls when you reload the game, but if you do 1 mission it will reset the loot table and stat rolls. But this does not work for curios, think of curios as a more obscure version of an unidentified item system (diablo 2, path of exile), the game has already decided whats in the box it doesn't matter when you open it.
4. Another thing I noticed, is if you check the drop items you can see it drops quick charge IV+, charged attack V & overdrive assassin V. Ironically also all attack sigils, and the video suggested that the curios also seem to only give attack sigils. This might suggest the type of sigils you get from a curios relates to the type of sigil the content you got it from drops.
What is important is where you got the box and what level you were when you obtained it is my best guess.
From those 3 points I would say, the curios boxes are RNG to a point but have a few variables which effect what appears and what does not based on what stage of the game you are playing + what content you played. Anyway gonna go give this a shot, I am the unluckiest person ever for RNG so if I get one in less than 50 runs assume the video is correct lol.

well I farmed roughly 1k ish, and ended up with like 6 or so war elemental but only 3 supp dmg. so I don't believe either 1 is favoured its just whatever rng decides to give u lol. I actually did get supp damage first though, just ended up with more of the other in the end.
I'm convinced tbh that my guesses on what conditions the game decides what a curios contained were way off. I still think there is something at play, maybe some kind of hidden pity system that eventually rewards u with x amount after a certain period of playtime or something@@blacknerdtalks7921

OK what the fuck, the first quest I did of Vulcan Bola and its literrally a War elemental lvl 15 sigil on that 1 curio box. The slime one didn't work for me but this one this, this fucking rocks

You can. I have 5 in my inventory. The max level for it is lvl 15. So no point in having more than 1 elemental in one character

spammed 10 vulkan bolla, and got war elemental from there, 80+ hours into the game
Supplementary 5+ is many, many times rarer than war elmental Someone rolled over a thousand and only got 3 5+ supplementary but loads of war elemental. All curio are same drop chance when they drop no quest affects there contents.
i rolled over 1k boxes and got 2 war elemental from those and not a single V+ supp
The guy who tested the droprate cheated 100k curios, and only got a couple of sup V+. Its immensely rare, to the point nobody will have multiples with good secondary, unless they edit the save.

I was helping my friend farm for Zeta upgrade stuff (which includes a lot of Vulkan parts), and got both supp damage and war elemental in a 16 curio box opening.
There might be something to what you are saying here.
Though it is worth saying my friend did not get the sigils.
I got my War Elemental from Assault Formation, so my confirmation bias says that is the best farm for it 😅

Just spend $3 dollars to trade for the hundreds of hours of potential farming on March 14th for War Elemental sigil, plus more items. A minute of my time is more valuable than that but to each their own
Had 200 curios appraised, first time appraisal for me. Got two War elementals V and a supplementary IV. Sup dam is definitely a lot more rare, war elemental 1 percent drop chance it seems (although it could be one of the war elemental dropped from a boss, don't know if that is possible.)

I just did like 3 Vulkan bollas and let my 10 chests (3 Bolla, 7 others) be appraised and guess what, got a Supp DMG 5 (Havent gotten Sub or War Elemental in a loooong while)
I'd say i'm either crazy or it definitely does favor Vulkan bolla in terms of orange sigil drops.
I did a small test and ran it a bunch so i only have chests from Vulkan Bolla, these are the results. It also didnt drop guaranteed, so i don't know if other quests always drop one but it sure seems logical to not always drop one if it's better/targeted.

I just wanted to leave a comment here letting anyone who is skeptical know that this did indeed work for me and a buddy of mine. We both started with zero Curios and we farmed a total of 21 Curios from Maniac difficulty Vulkan Bolla and BOTH of us left with both War Elemental and Supplemental Damage V's.

It is basically RNG at this point but yes... the stage of infernidile is by far the FASTEST of getting cur IF your doing SOLO... Got 2 War Elemental for 30 boxes and yep... it is laughable at this point. My friend who had farmed 1000 boxes was stunned and was about to quit the game but I did let him remember that the game is RNG 😅

Too bad Vulkan Bola is the WORST Primal boss fight to farm. Like seriously, he's a chore through and through and his inconsistent hit-box makes it miserable.
Its all random, makes no difference where the curio came from
You know, when you farm Sierke's tickets you can save before turning them in. You then get all the rewards, and if you don't like the rewards you can reload, complete a mission and then try again - you'll get different rewards. If you don't complete a mission and just retry after re-loading - you get the same rewards. Well, I tried this method with appraising curios - but despite the fact that I completed a mission I got the same rewards. So, my guess is - what you get by appraising curios is pre-determined. So, I think, you need to grind a specific quest because it gives specific curios with specific rewards.
I afk farm vulkan bolla and I have 4 war elemental, not sure if it’s correlated. 😂
I can only unconfirm;
Unlike a lot of other components in this game where there is mild RNG like Transmarvelling or chest drops in the town, curio drops are on a string. Easiest way to figure it out is to first save, open a batch of curios, record what you got, close the game and check again.
You'll notice you get the same curios drops. Even down to the 2ndary lines if you get sigils with them.
You need to go on a quest after closing the game to have the system reseed the curio rng

curios are seeded as soon as u start the game and never get reseted, there has been alr some serius testing on this from people cheating to find % of good sigils to drop@@jamesabraham1384
well that actually doesn't disproof. If curio's loot is not save scammable, that makes it possible that the content of a curioso is rolled on loot.

I think this is true, I farmed vulkan on maniac and opened 4x 10 boxes each and everything I got at least one of berserker v, suppl v, glass cannon v or war element. 4 times in a row is not RNG anymore in my book
The odds have been semi tested for supp v+ sigils and elemental sigils and its not looking good. Elemental isn't rare neither is supp however a good supp + sigil is 0.06% chance of dropping.. When you see streamers TH-camrs etc with the perfect God roll supp sigils 3 of them ideally. They are in fact using a cheat engine. This is why streamers and TH-camrs ruin the gaming space because regular players try to get these items and will never regardless of how much time they spend in the game.
Can confirm, I ran Vukan bolla today 10 times in a row with a random stack and got my first supp sigil. I do think it’s crazy how there’s people already with V sigils with perfect rolls, considering how many tickets you need to transmute and curios to turn in. It feels like a huge grind, but I could definitely see how PC players can possibly use a cheat engine to just get the sigils, same thing happened in Monster hunter world with people getting perfect rolled Jewels and decorations.

@@solaragpc4172 I’m fine with people Saving and reloading to get the rolls and drops they want, but what OP was implying is that most of these TH-camrs actively get really good RNG and a majority of their builds are min-maxed to the absolute max and it’s almost impossible to mimic it unless you either
1. Save & re-load until you get the exact roll you need.
Or
2. You use Save Wizard (HxD editor) to just give you whatever you want cause the game most likely doesn’t have a way to ban people who probably do it.
Plus, this game is entirely PvE based and not particularly hard to get good at, so it really doesn’t matter if TH-camrs use some type of cheat engine to get an advantage by making content to showcase how overpowered a character can get.
However, I have heard in some discords that people have seen “hackers” (not sure if true or not) spamming SBA like 10 times in a single boss battle, so in reality not like it’s hurting anyone at the end of the day.

Not to flex or anything but I have 4 sup damage V and 4 war elementals. Got 2 sup damage IV+ but sold one when I was a noob and didn’t even knew sup damage dropped only from curios. Regardless I feel happy to be this lucky. I have 220 hours tho so I grinded a lot too.

Also you can save scum both curio and sigil ticket rolls by saving before rolling then if you dont get what you want then reload your save and go do a quest save and roll again, rinse and repeat.
