I wish you had mentioned that this was made by Blitzway in collaboration with Prime 1. It was Blitzways team that worked on it. Prime 1 are the ones who sold it. The portraits and hands are made of PVC. That’s how Blitzway makes their pieces. Prime 1 would’ve used translucent resin, which they use on all their statues. I’m definitely not taking the blame away from P1. But I felt it was important to mention that Blitzway share more of the blame.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Well, yes, but it was still Blitzway's team that made the product and may have had final say, don't quote me on that. And Blitzway also made money off of people. Love Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker! His acting is fantastic. But, like Deadpool's comparison of "Do you wanna build a snowman" to "Papa, can you hear me?". I always compare this facial design to an Italian Flag version of "The Crow"! Not that there's anything wrong with that! GOD Bless You and the X-Fam Brother!

I may or not get this Prime 1 Joker despite his awkward stance leaning handing his joker card to Gambino’s group therapy session scene. Strange why the head portrait doesn’t match well to his demo pics. Great session review X! Sorry, haven’t chimed in much while fighting COVID. 🃏😷
I purchased this back In June as my joker for my collection and my first 1/3 scale piece, I collect 1/4 scale Batman pieces, I love it, yes the face could be better but how I have it displayed it looks great...but have been debating to sell it and get the grim knight Batman
Mr. X your reviews are probably the most legitimate in the starue collecting community. I listen to you and the Batman Statue collector mostly because you really do know what you're talking about. I was disappointed when I saw what the final production pieces of this statue looked like, and to cope I ordered the standalone bust hoping to kitbash the two together and make something worth displaying on the shelf. In retrospect, I'd rather put that 2 grand towards a JND statue instead. It's a better investment for me. Thanks for sharing this great review 😎👍
Anyone who would think the portraits on this are great needs to look up the incredible custom painted version by Jacob Rahmier, it reveals how amazing the sculpt is, but it was completely ruined by the factory paint app
I haven't been a fan of this piece, but I thought it was due to all of the cloth or maybe I was just burnt out on Heath Joker collectibles. Your pros and cons for this piece pretty much match mine.
It does kind of look like just some random stuff all thrown together. It's cool because it's the Joker but I see what you mean. I always feel like when you are paying that much for these products, the lighting features should all be wired in and a USB at a minimum vs battery.
I completely agree with mister x. and the portraits, the most important part, are way off. the smiling one is super funky. he looks all sheepish like he's hoping batman doesnt beat his ass, and the 300 dollar extra portrait has zero expression, which does not fit the character at all. the joker had so many great expressions in the movie and they couldnt find one to model the second portrait after? wtf. this is probably the worst case ive seen of a statue that does not live up to the prototype what so ever. i wont even get started about the pose........lol
I always said that this statue was too much junk thrown on the base. The pose is awkward and I don't like the off angle base. Also resell is really bad because there's simply too many Ledger Jokers out there.
I feel this piece is fine and on par with, if not better than, their other Dark Knight 1/3 works. However the price was certainly not! And the extra bust/portrait was obviously a planned, milking con to add insult to injury. If it was cheaper in one way or another this would be another respectable piece.
totally agree on this. The only thing they got right is the jacket color imo; the face looks weird af, like you said, and im pretty sure ive never seen joker smile in that way in the movie lmao. The JND studios one is the one to go for, that one looks absolutely like heath ledger's joker.
If you take only the additional bust for this statue is just the better version of Heath Ledger today and for me JND Version is the worst version, first the price point at $2,500 doesn't match with the quality given. The museum pose statue is a really weird design. The cheap plastic weapons should have been resin or diecast material. Speaking of which, the JND Catwoman piece also suffered the same issue with the Batman Cowl being a plastic piece, super duper lightweight and it doesn't feel premium at all. For that kind of money they demand for their products, they should have given a proper thought into using what materials for the switchouts. It's not even PVC, it is cheap plastic and they are so easily breakable. For the portrait, I don't really see much of Heath Ledger in it, I would say it's about 65-70% accuracy imo. JND needs to improve their production QC and choice of materials before charging their products so high. I do praise their effort in making hyper-real faces for their other products, and the silicone material does bring out certain actors likeness. But unfortunately, for this Joker, does not represent it. Personally, it's 6/10 score.

Yea the first portrait isn’t the best, but I kind of like the creepy smile. And I think the pose is from the scene where he’s bent over about to pull the cord on the grenades when he was talking to the mob.
Would I rather have five PFs of the Joker than this? No, I would rather have one P1 Joker, as it looks better than the PF. Thats not saying it is five times better, but saying it just is better, when price is not considered in the comparison. Also its quite impossible to times up how much better a piece is compared to another. Is the SilverSurfer from LL twenty times better than the old PF Surfer, or a thousand times? Price doesnt measure how much better something is - it measures how sought after it is.

lol definitely not the worst... the paid additional portrait looks good to me.
Bit biased for me. If its Ledger its a 10 for me 🤣
You are right this is not the best statue of the joker I don’t like the pose it is not worth 1500 sideshow was a lot better sorry for the lost money
I dont care, i so much love this statue
Yeah agreed. Not great quality.
Damn that head sculpt from the original pic difference is super disrespectful. Yours looks like the missing chromosome version.
I don't think it's fair to compare what Mrs. X's friends say about you to this statue, because this statue does have a few good call outs 😂
Think you are too hard on it - especially seen in you rate the PF higher - but each to their own.
I think the PF is better than this. It retailed for almost 1/5 the price
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX if the measure is value for money, maybe. If its purely the product quality, far from it.
@@CosmKramer so you’re saying this is five times better?
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Im saying its better when pricepoint is out of the equasion.
This stinks and I’m not a collector. I just enjoy the channel.
I agree this is the worst of the Heath Ledger statues IMO
I agree with everything you said. They drop the ball big times .
Hulk
Thailand!!!
Grail 💩
What a disappointment. Prime is usually amazing, but they failed on this one
A joke of a statue
"an old man with a bad hip" 😂 . He sure looks like one. The paint job on the portrait is waaaaayyy off from the promo pics.
I had an ugly argument with the wife and a minute later I get a notice about your video. I literally laughed reading the title of your video. (Your timing was perfect. I needed the smile)
This is one of the many reasons you're my favorite reviewer. You're unfiltered and passionate about your hobby. No sugarcoating. I saw that statue in person. Its alright but yeah, if I paid that much for it, I wouldn't have been happy either.
Smh fucking Prime 1 does it again :(
I mean, it’s already being heavily discounted at a lot of retailers. Numbers don’t lie 🤷♂️
Nice
hmm..first negative review I've seen kn this statue
A lot of hate from most collectors on this piece.
