i dont know, I have a baby with my boyfriend and if I bought a house, I would call it our house… when you decide to build a family you have to also learn to be selfless, you’re not one anymore you’re a team. Imagine a dad buying a home, he has a stay at home partner with a baby and always referring to the home as “His” house?. Also if benny had bought a house and kept emphasizing it was “ HIS” house, i feel like thing’s would be much different and he would be getting so much hate.

My partner really wants to buy a home and although i would love a house i think we need to be a little more financially stable and focus on finishing our degree’s right now and he has respected that because thats how a partnership should work. That way when you move out you can leave as is and whoever rents can fit their theme in decor. I would get an interior designer to help you. Also 20k for flooring is a lot.
