I have a pair of G9 183 cm, 19.4 radius, they are just stunning in what they can do. But beware! Those aren't ski for everybody, not even for experienced skiers - they are meant for advanced, physically fit pure alpine skiers. The moment you point them parallel down the slopes you will accelerate, and in but a few seconds you'll reach speeds that will test your comfort. 90km/h will feel like 60 km/h on a normal ski. You will have to apply plenty of pressure to turn or slow down. Amazing ski, but don't try them unless you are physically and mentally ready for them.
I have the REDSTER X9 S, which is of course one level down from the G9 but I can understand 100% what you say. When I bought them, I wan't to give them back. Nevertheless after 2 years on the X9, they feel so easy to me that I think to move to the G9. How harder are they? Can you compare somehow X9S and G9?
@@keeperofthereign they are a lot harder to turn. X9 is the all-rounder ski that I would recommend to the good and able, weekend-skier, while I would only recommend a G9 to somebody who skis several times a week and who doesn't just have a solid technique, but also a certain physical fitness. As I said before, you want to have a strong core and a lot of power in your quads, otherwise you won't enjoy these ski and you might even hurt yourself.
@@amoreazione3563 Many thanks for your answer. Ill stick to the X9, but you should know that the X9 is Master FIS certified (Master is races of any age group till ... 80 years old).
Atomic makes the great skis which give me the good feelings a lot of years allready. But these new s/g 9 - serie skis with "Servotec" technology are too expensive here in Russia. So it remains envious to King Marcel and dream about... =)
