    4:26 True, in preproduction a lot gets done but nevertheless in many independent films there is no money spent in this phase because people usually just spend their time for free in order to safe money for the shoot.

      Reed's "The Brood" castmate Samantha Eggar has an interview on YT. She talks of multiple incidents that occurred after shooting days (arrested after a drunken bet to walk naked for kms back to his hotel, tossing hotel mattresses out the window), but Reed still showed up ready to work and on time, and was a considerate coworker, on set.
