I don’t understand why your singing of giving God “a chance to satisfy” YOU. He gave us the chance and opportunity to satisfy and worship Him. If I’m not getting it please correct me, otherwise those lyrics are self centered

This is an invitation for us to acknowledge and step into the beauty, worth, and satisfaction that only Jesus can supply. It has nothing to do with “us” - this is an anthem of surrender and confession of our realization that only Jesus is worthy of our lives and adoration. He is truly the only one to satisfy us.
