I got engaged on Saturday! My fiancé included my two sons and his son in the proposal. It was amazing and I’m so happy. I’m 42, so it’s nice to know life keeps going no matter what!!
I struggle with that too. Not sure if this helps but sometimes when I'm frustrated and depressed I blast some Linkin Park and scream along. It helps get a lot out
The Chubby Geek Girl yes it does!! I love listening to music to get my emotions out. For me it’s Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, or if I’m really moody I’ll break out my old country faves and just cry it out 😂
Hi Emily! I’m having a tough time currently. I’ve been a nurse for 7 months now and it’s been a whirlwind. It’s truly been a “trial by fire” experience. I’m also pregnant with my first baby that we have been praying for 3+ years. I’m trying so hard to keep my baby girl safe but also perform my duties as a nurse during Covid.. I love watching your videos and your Instagram stories of your beautiful kiddos. I think you’re a great mom and I truly hope I’m 10% of the mom that you are! Thank you for being an escape for me and keeping me grounded ♥️
I am a nurse, I remember my first 6 months.. I had to take a break because I was so burnt out. I said yes to every shift and ended up working 80-90 hour weeks. Remember to take time off so you don't burn out! Especially right now! Sending you lots of love and light!!
Well I recently recovered from covid and decided to take care of myself and start a healthier life styles. So I’m walking around 4 miles a day and eating healthier and feel great. 😊
Glad to hear you're feeling better! Covid is no joke. My husband and I live near Seattle and we got sick in late February/early March, before they realized it was actually Covid. They know now that Covid had been in WA state for a few months before it got into nursing homes and started wreaking havoc. People don't understand how serious it can be until they get it or they know someone who does. Here's to a healthy 2021!
Oh wow, I'm so sorry you got sick, but good for you turning it into a positive! Walking is, IMO, the best exercise, and most of us can do it. I find it helps with anxiety, too.
I'm so happy you're feeling better now! Do not underestimate the power of plants. If you saw me 10 years ago, you wouldn't recognize me. Look up Dr. Greger and Anthony William; they helped me save me! The celery juice is real.
I love love love when people talk about under rated products. Could you do a video on your favorite limited edition palettes? People on YT don’t like to talk about them but as someone who buys a lot of palettes I love to see what limited edition palettes actually stand out
I'm slowly recovering from the worst UC flare of my life, I was hospitalized for 3 days and still went home quite ill but stabilized. Our beauty community has been my mental oasis, thank God for Emily and other positive creators I watch. I'm on the mend and trying to stay positive. Much love to all here.✨💖✨
JustRose Bless you! My daughter and her younger brother both have UC. After 3 years, my son achieved remission. My daughter flared during her last pregnancy. She was hospitalized 3 times and finally gave birth to a healthy little girl. An earth angel. Seven months later my daughter is still struggling. She has a 4 year old son, 2 year old twins, and the baby. I spend a lot of time there helping. I am praying that she will reach remission soon.
I am an unemployed single mom of 2 boys and I’m also taking care of my orphaned half brother. I run a not for profit half day preschool when there isn’t a pandemic that has reduced our enrollment so much we cannot reopen for now. Dealing with divorce, unemployment, online schooling starting up for all three of the boys, and trying to keep my wits has been a challenge! So thankful to be able to tune in to your calm and soothing presence Emily! Love you!!!
I'm Argentine and live in Buenos Aires , we are dealing with mandatory isolation , so I'm home since rhe middle of March... thank God my husband, my cat and I are healthy... I'm very lucky to work in IT so I got to maintain my job ...my husband though is an essential worker so he has to work outside, he's my heart and soul, I pray for him everyday. Your videos and your positive vibe are like a ray of light. Sorry my English, I'm obviously Spanish speaker....Te mando un beso enorme a ti y a todos tus suscriptores😘 (I send a big kiss to you and all your subscribers)
We are preparing for a visit from my mom, who lives out of state. It's been almost six months!! I love my OG Tartlette palette. Everyone reports how "cool" it is, but it's not. There's a row of warm, mauve and neutral. I use it often with CP supershocks on the lid. 😁
I'm a professor in India. Online lectures are beginning for the classes I teach. I have learnt a lot during the lockdown like gardening, meditation, painting, etc.... Feeling really pumped and nice, actually. 💜
Whoa! I’m a college professor in the middle of the United States and that’s how I spent my lockdown too! We are opposite side of the planet twins! And despite the fact that COVID is tearing through our state at an all-time high, we’re theoretically going back into the classroom in less than 2 weeks...or...our brand new chancellor who just started yesterday (literally) might just decide to move us all online! So I’m feeling that I don’t have much control over the situation and don’t really want to prepare lectures that I might need to totally revamp...so I am procrastinating a little longer with Emily! Good luck with the school year!
@@michmash7888 same to you. There's a similar confusion regarding online classes and starting to call students to the college for them. There's still some time for the starting date that they've given which they, anyway, keep postponing. Right now I'm enjoying my life by taking few online lectures here and there and doing all the other things I mentioned before. Nice to meet you, twin! 💜
Feeling sad today. Yesterday we had to lay to rest one of my boarders horses. They came here 8 years ago, an angsty 14 year old, navigating a tough time. This horse helped her through the years grow into a wonderful young lady. Though the horse wasn't mine, I've cared for her for the past 8 years, bonding and easily growing to love her. She was a kind and gentle soul. Definitely need a distraction from this heartache.
15 minutes and thousands of views. Yep, everyone adores you! You’re such a lovely woman and a blessing to me personally. Take care, sending love and hope and prayer. God bless you!
I'm 9 months pregnant with my first ! Due in 4 days. officially on maternity leave! Just bought some new makeup on ulta as a present to myself. Love your videos!
Congrats and sending good vibes for your baby's arrival. Don't be hard on yourself when the baby comes, chores can wait. Get sleep when you can and remember post partum is normal.
I was diagnosed with cancer this week and I'm waiting for a date to remove one of the tumours. So watching uplifting videos while lying in bed. Makeup is my happy place x
I'm dealing with 3 different schools and none of them are on the same schedule, either start day, start time, or days of the week we're going. I hated distance learning with a passion but at least I didn't have to worry about trying to coordinate schedules and get kids in uniforms out the door on whatever day of the week they're going to school. So I'm taking a break and watching a couple videos.
Summer break is coming to an end, trying to buy a house, and visiting family soon. Your channel is my happy place, and your love of makeup always brings a smile to my face 🥰
That first Tarte palette is really lovely. Your Wants and Needs palettes are still just fantastic. A big part of my collection. I sure enjoyed this! It could really be a tag video. Take care! xox, Melissa
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and trying to finish all my editing (I'm a boudoir and Wedding photographer) before baby arrives! Your videos make my life so much more fun at home. 💕
Matte Cocoa is gorgeous!!!! on good news, ive started a new job 3 weeks ago at the top of pandemic and got offered an amazing salary! i love where im working and just wanted to share that not everything is negative during this time!!
Yes girl I just found a job as Well playing catch up with my bills now. Thankful for my new job girl. But the struggle is real and I've had to take on my teenaged niece cause my sister has hit rock bottom.😔 Its so sad and long story but I have a job now so thankful to God for that for sure.💗💙💗💙💗
I’m a PhD student working on my dissertation from home. Struggling to stay motivated but thankful that I’m still able to continue towards my goal throughout this tough time. Love taking breaks to watch your channel.
Struggling to finish 3 seminary projects that are due on Monday. Stressed, tired and in need of a little break! This is a welcome interlude. Thanks, Emily!
I’m so sick of quarantine! I’m a stay at home mom of a two and a half year old boy with special needs. I’m trying to stay home as much as possible to keep him safe. It’s been challenging, but we have been playing outside a lot and gardening. Thank you for the distraction Emily 😍
I'm a Registered Nurse from Australia. I've just woke up from my sleep after completing my night shift. Did 3 mornings and 4 nights in a row but I'm not going to complain ... I always wanted to be a nurse ever since I could remember. 🤭🤗 & the first thing I did when I woke up was to look for your video. 😍 Have a good day everyone. Stay safe!
I'm doing much better now!! Your videos always bring joy/sunshine to my day, despite the day I am having. Thank you!!! Hoping you and your family are staying safe and healthy!!
I’m a night-shift nurse still struggling with everything going on (as is everyone else, I know). Within the past three weeks my mom went from having an abnormal mammogram to an ultrasound to a biopsy to finding out definitively that she has breast cancer. She scheduled her surgery date and will have to get radiation and possibly chemo. I’m with you, Emily, with the no sleep! I’m hoping for 2021 to be a better year!
I've been working remotely from home since March 15th. I know four relatives (twin teens, one middle aged, one senior) and six clients who tested positive (I have a tax practice) for Covid19. So grateful they all survived with no long term ill effects. Just a reminder that life is precious and we need to be kind to one another.
I'm hanging in there Emily!! Happy to hear The Tartelette Amazonian Clay palette was your #1 mentioned palette. I love it too. Of course I love The Wants, and The Needs palettes too. Enjoyed this very much. Many blessings, prayers, and love..MaryEllen
Today I’m enjoying my 4-year-old niece and 15 month old baby that I nanny. I literally just stopped and looked at both of them playing and felt overwhelming gratitude for being able to be in a position now in my early 40’s (and my own children are grown adults!) that my husband’s career allows me to be at home & take care of these angels every day! ♥️ Love you & everything you do!! 💟
I am feeling very happily blessed having survived Covid although I have a plethora of medical issues and I’m 56 years young! I can shout it from the rooftop that I serve a mighty God!!!
Am in the UK and today I've been painting bedroom furniture and going to the gym. I'm recovering from a serious illness 2 years ago, so I'm grateful that I'm active and able to do these things 💚
I am a single mom in New Orleans getting ready for my daughter’s virtual learning. I only have the meager state unemployment income coming in. I have managed to find resources for food and some bills but if this goes on much longer the bottom might fall out. I also carry a lot of sympathy for others that have it much worse than I do. These are scary times.
I am working full time from home (for the local public health department no less), and I am really stressed about my 3 kiddos returning to elementary school distance learning. I have no idea how that’s going to work. I have the same feelings as everyone else during this heavy time. I LOVE that I can always turn to a channel like yours and get happily distracted from real life worries. So grateful for you, and all the other creators that are still bringing us joy in these tough times.
I'm doing well, as is my husband and baby. We've been very blessed because even amid the pandemic my husband has stayed working and even received a raise at work and we bought our first home. God is good.
Keep God out of it please. I'm here for my pleasure. Not here for your idea of life/ lecture. Keep it neat ja!???? 🤔 It's makeup TH-cam ~ my own happy little bubble ~ no need for religion stuff here
@@cookieinnadress9709 you must be awfully closed minded if you feel the need to tell someone to "leave God out of it" as a reply to the question "how are you?" Me saying God is good is my business/belief and if you don't believe that, it's fine, but don't tell me to "leave God out of it" when all I did was comment about the things I'm grateful are happening in my life. I was in no way lecturing anyone on anything...
YOUR assumption of me being closed minded is a guess. YOU don't know me 🤔 YOU think I am closed minded just cos I responded @ you? YOU could have left the word God out of it, that's all. YOUR believes are okiedokie but not every1 likes the word God in hers/his little happy space/corner of the YT community ~ so don't judge me ~ God wouldn't like that... 🤔 would he!? Well. Bless you 😄
Academic Advisor here, currently prepping 500 incoming first years for registration on Monday, and preparing for classes to start in two weeks. Terrified to have to be back on campus, while simultaneously negotiating buying a house for the first time. So you know, having little breakdowns daily. lol. Thank goodness for Emily and her videos as a nice little respite from all the stress.
Been playing alot with my 6 year old daughter with makeup. She loves the packaging to my too faced gingerbread extra spicy. She believes the one on the package came from Shrek.
Love that you genuinely ask how your viewers are doing. 💕 I’m exhausted! Lol. I have a 7 month old that’s crawling and furniture cruising and keeping me on my toes. She’s still up every 2 hours at night to comfort nurse. On top of that I’m homeschooling my 8 year old son and working from home as a marketing director and website developer and manager & taking care of daily housework... oh and two dogs. My husband is in the Army so he’s gone a lot and works a full time job when he is home. It’s been a crazy year but we are surviving and I think we will come away from everything feeling much more grateful for our typical mundane lives. 😂 I’m thankful for your videos. They are such a relaxing escape for me at the end of the day! Hope you and everyone reading this is doing well and staying safe and healthy. 💕
I graduate tomorrow with my Master's in Nutrition. I am excited and nervous about the future, but Emily has been there for me through all of my degrees. Your channel is a constant in my life, and I appreciate you and your beautiful family ❤️
I feel ya! We have moved a lot over the years, military family. Take those breaks where you can. When it's time to unpack, 1 box at a time and don't rush. Find homes for each item before moving on. YWIA
I’m gonna be 13 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my first baby and I’m just so excited and grateful. I had a really rough first trimester, was very sick almost every day... and I’m thankful to have made it through and be almost in the second trimester. I’m feeling so blessed to be able to become a mom and I’m so excited for everything that lies ahead. 💕
ohh.. I'm doing okay. I live in Miami FL and things here are just really scary. We're getting out of town this weekend. We rented a beach house for a few nights so we can have some sort of normalcy this summer. Being a single mom, who has to work and has to send my kid to school is also just really weighing on me hard and I feel guilty and yah. I need a vacation. lol I hope you are doing well, thanks for a tiny minute of peace.
I'm sitting here watching my kiddos and my best friends' kiddos play in the pool on this 95 degree day and they haven't seen each other in forever. It makes my heart happy because they all grew up together from the time they were babies. ♥️
I just order their new one a few days ago. Waiting for it to be delivered. I cannot wait to play with it. Its my first thing from them. I also picked up 3 of their eye brushes.
I have several of them and when I showed my oldest daughter the Goddess palette she was loving the shimmers so much I let her keep it. I ordered the Artemis, another Goddess, the Aurora and their brush set - they are scheduled to arrive today!
Hi Emily, You are my favorite TH-camr. I love to come to your channel because you are a shining example of what is good and positive in this world. During these trying times it is nice to tune in for a chat, a tutorial or a catchup with your kids and hubby. I lost my husband one month ago.....not Covid.......but it was a sad shock. I wandered around in a daze, unable to concentrate or focus on anything. One of the first things I was able to do was to escape into your world and forget for a little bit the pain I was in. So thank you for giving me moments of joy. You have taught me a lot, and I thought after wearing makeup for 45 years that I knew quite a bit.......LOL. See you soon.
Thanks for asking, Emily! I'm currently almost 13 weeks pregnant with our first baby. Dealing with those pesky symptoms. Your videos are always a nice distraction and simple joys in life! So thank you! I need to rewatch some of your preg videos soon. :)
My husband is a high school teacher and will be teaching "virtual" school this year. He found out today that he will be responsible for six different classes.... including regular and honors level. His normal schedule is two to three preps. He is staying home because I am in an extremely high risk group (covid-19). I know that parents are facing new challenges, but teachers are too! Last year, he work 7-9 hours a day to convert his curriculum to an online format.😱
My husband and I will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary on the 8th! We had our precious baby boy on Valentine's day and finally feel comfortable enough leaving him overnight at grandmas. We will be celebrating and relaxing at a friend's lakehouse. As much as we love our baby, it will be fun to spend some adult time together. The pandemic has kept us at home since he was born so we're very excited for a mini break. ❤
What's going on in my life? Well I'm a hostess at applebees trying to learn how to drive. Also trying to learn Spanish! I'm also asking out my crush today waiting for his response. trying to persevere through severe anxiety attacks, which your videos help with :)
When you mentioned the Needs palette came out two years ago I had a sweet memory. I bought it the week I was dropping off my son at college and I remember being grateful that I didn’t think about my makeup that week. It was such an emotional time!
What’s going on: Trying to plan a very adjusted wedding (eloping September 1st-this is our 3rd wedding date, hopefully it happens this time). Working from home most days. Trying to focus on positive things to get though the day to day unknowns.
2020 is feeling heavy at this point. I have older parents who I am the main caretaker for, and the need to constrict my social interactions is really taking a mental toll. I haven't even been to a movie or a restaurant since March! I feel like life is very monotonous and no end to this situation in site. Your videos are always a fun and positive break in my day, thank you for being interested and opening your comments to share.
I've been making huge progress towards my depression and PTSD recovery, I started a TH-cam channel, and I started drawing again after a year and a half of being unable to because it was a PTSD trigger
Truly, I'm going through a lot. Both my parents are struggling medically. Planning a trip due to a funeral in my husband's family. But I'm walking in greatfulness! God is still good. Blessing us in our valley 😊
I am 37 years old living in a medical facility with a lot of elderly people with dementia. A lot of them became like grandparents to me and we have lost over a dozen people during covid. I have had to have 4 surgeries this year and another one in 2 weeks. Its been a really difficult year. I started a TH-cam channel in hopes of helping people and a distraction from everything going on in my life. I only made 2 videos and then just kept getting sick and having the surgeries. But I am hoping once I get better to get my channel going and be able to find people who are in need of support and understanding. I can't work a "normal " job but I really want to help people and I hope to build a positive, happy, uplifting community like yours! 🤗❤
@Abi Thomason thank you so so much!! Gosh, Emily has such an amazing supportive and encouraging community! I know you girls are 2 of the over 1 million subscribers she has but I am truly grateful and appreciate so much that you took time out of your day to support me. I am recovering from surgery and then having another surgery on the 18th. But after that I really want to get my channel going and the more people that subscribe, the more chances I will have to actually help someone which is my entire reason for starting a channel! I want people who feel alone or misunderstood to know they are not alone and they can get the support and understanding they need to get through whatever it is they are going through. It doesn't even have to be health related. I just wanted to do my part in bringing all different people together and showing there's caring, supportive, understanding, good people in the world and there should be no reason why we can't come together to help and support each other through the tough times life throws at us all! But I want to do it in a positive way. I don't want my channel to be a depressing place. I am very silly and deal with many of my hard times through humor and through music. I just hope and pray that I can help people even if they just need a friend or some entertainment because I have lots of stories to tell and quite a few of them are ways I have embarrassed myself with my surgeons, doctors, and nurses lol! Anyway, thank you so much again to both of you for joining! It truly means the world to me!
I am struggling with a horrible allergic reaction with serious hives. Nothing but sitting down with my medicine and your videos could help calm the itch. I've been watching you for 12 years and your videos always bring me comfort during the darkest periods of life. Love to you and your family! Thank you Emily!
Love you, your content, and your energy always. ❤️ My Uncle is battling covid in the ICU so any and all prayers and love welcome. Sending love back to all.
Anyone else dealing with having a high school senior this year and trying to navigate the college application process in the middle of the craziness? So stressful. She worked so hard for years and the rug just got pulled out- hopefully it will all turn out ok, but the stress is no fun. Thanks for the mental break!
Just trying to hang in there living that nurse life. Your videos are such a light in my life. You could talk about your grass growing and I’d be all ears. Love you Emily ❤️😘
Hey Emily :) going to straighten up my living room. I just moved into a new apartment after being at my parents house for 6 years. It’s a huge change in my life but I’ve dreamt about it for years.
Really been struggling with my mental health recently and have now been told that my job (and for the most part) my beloved industry aren't going to be back until AT LEAST January next year so I'm really at a low point for that and several other reasons. But I've rediscovered your videos having been a viewer for at least 7/8 years and there's something so comforting about your content and it's been helping me a whole lot these past few months. Hope you and your family are well! x
Love the Enchanted palette! But I'm still a "singles in a magnetic palette" girl. Brands need to get back in the singles game. There's still so much potential in the mass market space for good quality, unique singles (not talking indie houses which have been making amazing duochromes and multichromes for a minute).
I'm kind of happy that big brands aren't focusing on singles right now because it gives me a reason and an opportunity to expand my indie knowledge and support small companies! Shipping and accessibility are not amazing, though.
Found a new therapist and got a new diagnosis and I’m feeling super hopeful in the midst of this craziness and becoming a new nurse in the middle of the pandemic. Your videos are ALWAYS a bright spot for me 💓.
I feel like BH palettes are soo good and affordable but still no one talks about them I own 3 and I can tell you there some of my faves and I have almost all high end palettes and the BH ones I feel are better quality than some of my high end ones.
I really did click your video to calm myself because you’re so easy to listen to, you have a warm voice and it feels like I’m apart of the conversation even though I haven’t been buying new makeup in a few years. I’ve been watching you since 2013 in middle school and it’s a wonderful feeling that you still have the same relaxing presence. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about 4 years ago and I’ve been doing well the past year despite it, I’m medicated, going to therapy, but I guess the stress of everything has brought a newer element to my diagnosis that most people don’t know about. Much like schizophrenia, people with BPD can have hallucinations and I’ve been struggling with visual and auditory hallucinations I’m guessing because of my stress levels and anxieties! Crazy right! I wanted to share that to break a stigma that of course people who hear, see, smell, etc things aren’t crazy. I am a 20 year old college student and a lover of makeup. I wanted to share my current situation because I believe it’s important for mental health to be talked about at large and to never feel ashamed or like an outcast. Much love to Emily for creating this amazing community for lovers of makeup as all walks of life!!
I’m dealing with a third wave of covid here in hk and trying to stay sane. My agoraphobia and depression both relapsed and I’m just trying to take things one day at a time. Online shopping is literally the only fun thing I get to do now so I don’t know if this video is good for me to watch or not😂
It's nice to know that even though we feel alone in our depression we really aren't. I've been doing ok but being away from my family for nearly 7 months has begun to take it's toll. Best wishes from Alberta to all of you.
Thank you for asking what’s going on with us. About a month and a half ago, I left my job and I’m now pursuing my own business as an interior designer and remodeling consultant, working on marketing, PR and being self-sufficient. And it feels wonderful. You are an inspiration to us!
I'm having a rough week, especially at work. I'm behind at my day job, from a combination of having a hard time focusing and my carpal tunnel flaring up which is making typing hard. Since everything I do is on the computer, it's stressing me out, and I know my boss wants me to have more done. It's hard when you're doing your best, and your best isn't good enough, ya know?
I wish they understood how that negatively causes work to suffer. I used to give 110% but after the last few years now I just want to do my job and go home. Praying that you will come to a solution and your boss will have more compassion.
You’re so sweet to ask! Holding on to some big, good news until I can share it. Little challenging to have this good thing when my family is all in the other side of the country, but still a big ray of sunshine. Love the video - really filling up my wishlist!
Everything is so messed up right now! I’m in Florida... anxiety is the overwhelming thing going on with me! Trying to keep it in check! I just have to keep reminding myself that change is uncomfortable but progression has to come from change! God always has a plan... I just have to remind myself everyday that god is with us... and it’s all in his plan. Also pray, even when I don’t know what I’m praying for.... it’s overwhelming! Oh and I stopped watching the news!
I know what you mean, Nancy! I tell myself- control what you can control, and let God work out the details. Sometimes that thought is easier said than done, but it's what I shoot for anyway. Sending you love!
I have gotten to a point that your channel is almost all I watch now. It’s such a calm, happy, loving place. You love makeup and your subscribers, and it completely shines through on every video! ❤️
Today my ex-husband and I had the talk about whether to send our kids to school next month, and we decided to let them go - neither of us really WANT to send them, but we can't deny that our kids thrive in school and struggle with distance learning. Our son especially needs the socialization - he's a disabled teenager and he misses his friends and his routine so much. 😞
I keep bouncing back and forth between being able to get some work done and just being so tired and today I'm just so so tired so I'm really looking forward to this video to bring me a little bit of stress relief and relaxation in these crazy times.
I’ve been dealing with weeks of anxiety. Some days are great, some days are debilitating. But this has all brought me closer to God and my family and friends. I have been learning to not try and control everything all on my own. If you have anxiety, know you are not alone and you can always reach out to me if you need to talk. In regards to this video, love the Tartelette palette! It’s such a staple.
I’m dealing with my mom in the hospital. She fell 3 weeks ago and laid there all night. She has a terrible UTI and liver failure and hepatic encephalopathy. Anyone dealt with this that can offer some personal experience? Idk what I’m doing or what she needs. All I can focus on is making sure she is clean and fed. It also doesn’t help I live an hour away and have a full time job. I’ve already went through all my vacation time and can’t afford to take time off without pay. It’s a giant mess. Thank you Em, for always having a video available for me when I need to escape reality and talk about something I love!! 💜
I've been homeschooling my 7 year old and also job hunting at the same time. I also taught myself to make breads and buns. I started off by using a bread machine, and then I started to knead everything by hand. It has been quite a learning curve, but so fulfilling! Nothing beats eating your own home made bread!
I have the original tartelette clay play palette- but I kinda wish I got that one because of the blush, highlight and slightly more variety! The enchanted palette looks so ethereal- fairy tale like! I love the colors in that one! Love the Lorac palettes!
I’m enjoying my husband working from home and we are establishing some great routines to help enjoy together time and activities daily. I do miss visiting with the rest of my family. I’m high risk and isolated! Great video, thanks, Emily! 💜
Thank you, Emily, for continuously creating great content (even with all your mom duties!) I've stopped following so many makeup youtubers due to their changed channels and their sponsorship-filled videos, but you have been one that I have followed since the beginning. Thank you for your honest reviews and always reminding us of old products we already have! And thank you for keeping your channel focused on makeup!
I had a couple of videos to choose from this morning, and I am so glad I picked Emily’s. She lifts my spirit up and gives me such peace! Asking viewers how THEY are doing, and truly wanting a response makes me so happy! Now, I can truthfully say, I am having a great morning!💜💜💜
Always delighted to watch another video! Being 65+, and a caregiver to my younger disabled sister, an Emily video is my true guilty pleasure. I have never had the opportunity to use a high-end eyeshadow palette so I have always wondered about the difference in a pallet as compared to the mattes that I use as an older woman who loves makeup. I've enjoyed many of the foundations suggested in various videos. Can't help but wonder what palette would be best suited for a fair complected, medium brown-haired woman. Suggestions are welcome. May you all stay safe and well during these unprecedented times. Thank you, Emily, for all that you do, and please know your work is very much appreciated. You are a beautiful woman inside and out.
Dear Emily, I love watching your videos. It feels like you are a very nice person and have a warm personality. I love that you do you- your own contest, not paying attention too much what other influencers do at the moment (reviewing a new pallet all at once lol). You tell a story, not just describing a product. And of course, it's so nice to see your babies from time to time- they are so cute! :)
My husband just had major neck and back surgery this afternoon, so I'm stressing but happy he is done and his pain will be over. Those who pray, I'd love if you added him to your prayers. His name is Bob. Thanks! Emily I have a couple of the palettes you discussed and I completely agree!
I got engaged on Saturday! My fiancé included my two sons and his son in the proposal. It was amazing and I’m so happy. I’m 42, so it’s nice to know life keeps going no matter what!!
Congratulations, Christi! How wonderful!!
Thank you!!
Christi Wampler Congratulations!
Congratulations!
Congratulations!!
I’m dealing with some depression and struggling with a fear of loss of control. Nothing I can’t handle, and videos like this help!
Sending you love. I sometimes struggle with that loss of control feeling myself.
Feeling the same.
I struggle with that too. Not sure if this helps but sometimes when I'm frustrated and depressed I blast some Linkin Park and scream along. It helps get a lot out
Emily Noel aww, thanks! ❤️
Hey! Be safe out there . And lots of love for the super mom and the baby ❤️
I am a nurse, I remember my first 6 months.. I had to take a break because I was so burnt out. I said yes to every shift and ended up working 80-90 hour weeks. Remember to take time off so you don't burn out! Especially right now! Sending you lots of love and light!!
Prayers for you and your family! Thank you for what you do!
sending you so much love!
God bless you!
Well I recently recovered from covid and decided to take care of myself and start a healthier life styles. So I’m walking around 4 miles a day and eating healthier and feel great. 😊
Good for you! Praying you can keep it up! I know I felt so much better when I did that.
Good for you!!
People on YT don’t like to talk about them but as someone who buys a lot of palettes I love to see what limited edition palettes actually stand out
great idea
I'm slowly recovering from the worst UC flare of my life, I was hospitalized for 3 days and still went home quite ill but stabilized. Our beauty community has been my mental oasis, thank God for Emily and other positive creators I watch. I'm on the mend and trying to stay positive. Much love to all here.✨💖✨
Ugh, I have UC too. :( UC and Crohn’s are exhausting diseases! I’m glad for you that you’re home, and I hope you can rest and recover! ❤️
How awful for you! Sending up a prayer.
@@brendaizen6203 bless you as well! I feel like I know your support means the world to your daughter. That’s how I feel about my mom too. ❤️

Love you!!!
Hey there, I can imagine what u r going through. Anyways hope things will become easier for you. My prayers are with u.

Ánimo!
@@SangriainTO muchas gracias 😘
I'm a professor in India. Online lectures are beginning for the classes I teach. I have learnt a lot during the lockdown like gardening, meditation, painting, etc.... Feeling really pumped and nice, actually. 💜
👍💙
good for you! thank you for taking time to watch & best of luck with the upcoming school year!
@@emilynoel83 thank you so much! I always watch your videos and I've been doing so since I was in 10th grade.
I'm so sorry you've lost a horse you love. I'm hoping peace for you in the days to come.
Such a huge loss. I wish you peace and comfort. Funny how horses also “belong to” those of us who care for them.
Thank you all for your kind words. Small but kind gestures make such a big impact.

I'm sorry to hear about the horse.

I know lots of people are going through stress with school stuff. I'm glad you're taking a break! Sending you love!
I’m a teacher with an infant-no school age children of my own-and I feel for all our parents trying to manage the schedules! I know it’s hard!

Buying a house too! Hang in there!!
We’re trying to sell our home and recently found out we are expecting baby #2! Overwhelmed, doesn’t even begin to cover it!
Selling and buying homes was how I started this crazy year! That is stressful. Sending up a prayer
Congratulations on your baby!! But selling a home is not fun, preying it goes easy for you.
That first Tarte palette is really lovely. Your Wants and Needs palettes are still just fantastic. A big part of my collection. I sure enjoyed this! It could really be a tag video. Take care! xox, Melissa

The most underrated palettes : your Wants palette and Shaaanxo’s Heaps of Sweets palette 💜💜💜
I have used the heck out of her pallets. Hit pan on many shades.
Heaps of sweets is such a brilliant, well put together colour scheme with gorgeous quality. Hyped for her next release.

Hi Chrissy, I hope everything with your surgery goes well and that you have a smooth recovery. Stay strong 💪💜🤗
@@saramoggio5320 thank you so much! I really appreciate it 💖
@Abi Thomason thank you so so much!! It truly means the world to me!

good for you! Congratulations!
Yes all of my stuff is singles!!!
I'm kind of happy that big brands aren't focusing on singles right now because it gives me a reason and an opportunity to expand my indie knowledge and support small companies! Shipping and accessibility are not amazing, though.
@@Annalovesautumn That's a good point! Interesting singles is one area big business hasn't bulldozed & taken over, which is great for small brands.

It's nice to know that even though we feel alone in our depression we really aren't. I've been doing ok but being away from my family for nearly 7 months has begun to take it's toll. Best wishes from Alberta to all of you.
I hope you filmed this look because the structure if the blending, and the mix of shades on the eye and blush and lip is drop dead gorgeous!
Hi Emily, tomorrow is my birthday 🙋🏻♀️will be 43 .
Happy (early) birthday, Miriam!!
Here's to another365 days around the sun!🎈🎉💙❤👍
Happy Birthday, Miriam!
Thank you 🥰
oh Happy Birthday! (: God bless!
Sending you strength and hugs Jamie. Things will get better. 🏵️
I stopped the news too. I'm about ready to give social media a rest as well.
My father passed on Saturday and I have a million things on my “to do” list but I’m laying here, watching this video and escaping reality.
Sorry for your loss ❤
I'm so sorry, Trish! I can only imagine that feeling. Sending you love & comfort
I hug you. ♥️
Thank you all 🙏🏽
All my love to you.✨💖✨
I have been so busy but unmotivated at work. I love watching your channel Emily. Your genuine love of makeup always shines through.
Honestly im struggling emotionally..dealing with health stuff hugs
Sending prayers. I'm struggling too.
@@katieliz hugs. I hope you get threw what ever your dealing with. 🥰
Having a great day. Gathered up my mom squad (no kids) and spent a few hours just being together.
Nice!
That’s what I need.
I constantly worry about our families safety during this time, but super grateful we have each other.
I still love my Wants palette. Eve Rose and Belle Violet are two of my favorite eyeshadows period.
Taking a work break, drinking tea, and watching your video. Windows are open and it is actually a great day! Thanks for adding to the brightness!
My husband just had major neck and back surgery this afternoon, so I'm stressing but happy he is done and his pain will be over. Those who pray, I'd love if you added him to your prayers. His name is Bob. Thanks!
Emily I have a couple of the palettes you discussed and I completely agree!
He will be in my prayers Beth! Hope he recovers quickly.
@@aprilblossoms4 thank you so much! He is supposed to be coming home this afternoon.
Beth Hughes that’s great news. Have a wonderful weekend!
I am enjoying the help my MIL has kindly offered to give us with our baby and the nice Zeeland summer evenings.
