Story time: Dhoni was at an airport when a child approached him and asked him a question on motivation. Dhoni sat down with the young boy and spent 5 minutes answering the question. His manager asked why he spent that much time and Dhoni replied how his answer was pivotal in benefiting and motivating the boy. This incident then prompted Pandey to make a film about him saying [to Dhoni] that his story has the power to motivate millions of children like him.
And this is why the plot of the movie only shows his journey without expressing his headspace. I think which is where it falters.

But my comparison is about baseball and cricket... in cricket there is technique even in smallest of the things like.... holding the ball or bat , about the stance of the fielders ,what shot to play for various types of lengths and line of the bal.
whereas all you do in baseball is just swing and swing as hard as you can at every ball and i am sure it dose not require any technique apart from good reflexes.l

I agree with all of those who are suggesting you watch next the short video called MS Dhoni Insane Wicket Keeping Skills. It is about 7 minutes long. A Wicket Keeper is like a Catcher in Baseball.
The 2 Wickets (Bases) are set about 22 yards apart and are about 9 inches wide made, up of 3 individual wooden posts, called stumps. stuck in the ground so they stick up exactly 28 inches out of the ground.
There are 2 Bails (short sticks less than 3 inches long) set across the top of the stumps.
The Pitcher, called a Bowler, tries to bounce the ball off the ground and hit the stumps to knock off one or both of the Bails for an out.
The batter tries to deflect the ball so it doesn't hit the wicket. If he doesn't leave his spot (Crease) in front of the wicket, he gets to keep batting and protecting the wicket.
If the ball nicks the bat and is caught before it hits the ground again, the batter is out, just like in baseball, but not until the Wicket keeper (the only defender allowed to wear gloves) catches the ball and hits the wicket to knock off a bail, either with his gloved hand or by throwing the ball at the wicket.
It is a tough position just like in baseball.
