I also want to bring up how in Undertale. Asgore does call you the savior. He's not wrong about that, because you did save everybody with your determination. And yes, I do mean yours, not Frisk. That determination and soul is yours, because Chara made it very clear about that in the genocide route.

Light is inherently greater than darkness in that world. All purpose and meaning for darkners comes from amusing or helping lightners. Maybe it signifies how they're above any and all other darkners?
What if we get a secret boss with Solo Ralsei, and yes, Ralsei changed the legend, and she is truely making the fountains because of her being a darkner. Not being Darkist rn tho
