Hey! I also very much prefer the PS4 controller over the PS5 controller. I thought I was insane what with the entire Internet singing the praises of the PS5 controller.
Now, even though I always use my Logitech wireless controller for PS1/PS2, I'm very tempted to buy this product. However, I must know, have you tried playing Ape Escape? The accuracy of the joysticks is really important!
I would prefer the PS3 due to the analog sticks feeling more PlayStation-y
A shame it wasn’t oven ready as they say.
I’ve preordered a couple via Amazon, and got an email the other day to say the delivery date had changed to 18/10/23.
I have full confidence in them to be able to iron out any issues.

My experience with this one has been outright horrendous sadly. It doesn't work together with the Memcard PRO on the PS1, which is a huge problem. The Memcard simply stops being recognized by the PS1 and all functions seem to stop working while the receiver is plugged in. I sent 8bitDo an email and they gave me an offline updater with some beta firmware, but that just bricked my device entirely and it is now blinking red all the time and is not recognized by the PS1 nor the computer.
Sorry to hear that, yeah, wish you were the first to tell me about other issues to what I mentioned! Feels like it's been released too early, but I'm sure a fix will come about in the near future. Cheers for watching!
Sounds like they've released the product before they've got all the bugs out.

Might hv to pick one up. Im currently using a brook adapter which is good. But this looks slot more compact. 8bitdo have some great products, i hv tons of their controllers.

Have you tried the adaptor on ps1 console.
Yeah, works alright but only when not using MemCardPro..
@@DaleyRetro maybe you should buy and try the Brook Wingman Adaptor,Similar to that Adaptor,Can you make a comparison review on both products so you can smash 8bitdo for good?I have some of there products like "sn30 pro+" and there popular "pro 2" Bluetooth controller,Those 2 controllers are good and almost similar price to ps4 controller.
But the 8bitdo "Arcade Stick" is very disappointing,I cannot do the dragon upper cut input on streetfighter 2,So I will just have to mod it,And find some Japanese JLF Lever to be able to play it well on fighting games
