Adressing the acting... one always wonders how many of the "prank victims" are in on the joke? 😏 I know it isn't impossible that some people grin widely when they are afraid. But it still looks goofy to see someone run off while it looks like they are laughing cause they know the Youkai are just actors. 😁
@@quenty_ see I always thought it was like a setup but the victims didn't know entirely what was going on you know. Like they were told hey can you guys participate in this documentary were making about the wildlife or something like that. Which would explain the cameras, explain the mics but would also make them actually scared when something supernatural supposedly happens. Since they're just there for a wildlife or tourist advertisement for tour Japan thing. It's also possible like a school club leader or teacher set them up so the leader knows what's going on and is in on it and gets their club or friends to come out to the island or wherever. I think that's the most likely.

They have other videos that are more simply shot that seem more legit. This one is almost guaranteed to have them all be actors. Its still a fun watch, but no need to feel bad.

Either way the production quality was really good, the reactions didn't seem staged even if they were, so it's still worth watching and supporting this channel. But you have no reason to say that they do not like the Japanese lmao, that is like the dumbest conclusion I have ever heard, just because they are skepticle about a Japanese prank video being fake does not mean that they don't like an entire country and culture, that makes absolutely no sense.

All the blurred faces make me believe that they weren't able to ask for permission to use their faces since the people probably left the island ASAP... a lot of the victims might still be convinced that what they saw was real haha

Crazy how these people are placed so they can be perfectly captured, yet they cannot see any of the cameras or camera operators. And they sat down in the exact spot where a stationary camera just happened to be aimed. So lucky!
