41-19, and bout to have 4 years straight playoff appearances, went to a superbowl in his second year. If he was any other coach he’d be praised. But because of his personality people just don’t like him. Reality is, he’s the second winningest coach in the league right now.
My only issue is that the team usually wins despite Nick because they are that talented. He just needs to let them play and not try and be the sixth man on an all star roster.
They win with athleticism and clutch plays. They never come out prepared form the jump and the scheme is always extremely limited in complexity. That's coaching. Everything else is talent.
People don't like how he does not take easy points and game have been either not put away and a team comes back (Yesterday) or they wind up just losing because of it (Against the Falcons). Like, if he just learned how to do that, it would be a whole other thing. But he has a little PSU/Franklin in him for some reason. It's really weird.
I couldn’t have said it any better. Devonta Smith is my favorite player on the team, and that’s saying a lot!! He is always very professional and very humble, but he is deadly on that field! The name Slim Reaper is so accurate! He is such an amazing player and I couldn’t be happier that he’s on our team!!
Like Shannon Sharpe says. “Never accept anything in a win that you wouldn’t in a loss” when the eagles are dominating people love how Nick acts. Then you can’t be shocked when he acts like this and the team loses
It's a strange time being an Eagles fan. We have, what's objectively speaking, a Superbowl caliber roster but the main thing we have to worry about overcoming every week is our own fucking head coach fucking shit up. I've never experienced anything like it. Doug Peterson was aggressive too but rarely if ever do I remember him unnecessarily taking risks like Siriani. Siriani going for two after their 2nd TD was a prime example of why he shouldn't be making any decisions whatsoever. It made absolutely zero sense to go for 2 there when an XP puts us up 3 scores but he doesn't consider the most basic logic and honestly, as fans, it's insulting because he knows this is our biggest concern/complaint with him yet he just continues to do it. His obsession with making the easy things hard, already cost us against Atlanta and could have just as easily cost us against the saints and yesterday against the Jags.
Both these rookie corners are playing great. Coop is getting the nice plays but quinyon is out there holding down his own. Also throw Maddox in the trash too.
I LOVED Saquon in NY even as an Eagles fan. Now that I see him having fun with his game without pressure and not getting pounded into the ground is something we should all cherish forever!
Lane Johnson should take over as head coach. I'm dead serious. If he's just taking over all that is Siriani's current role which doesn't include scheme or play calling, Lane Johnson could do what Nick does and still dominate on the field. I listen to his post game interviews in the locker room after every game and he is absolutely tired of this dip shit holding the offense back from really hitting it's stride. Lane would be a great player/coach
@@toptiertech7291 born & raised. Jasper & Clarence, where u from? Cuz 215 & 267 is the same thing, and I said real Philadelphians not a bunch of drunk ppl mostly from Delco & south jersey
Sariani is trying to get the team to execute. He looked at the score and felt his team would hold Jacksonville without a problem. The bigger issue isn’t the coach but having this team successfully do a play they owned.
Quinyon barely gets talked about 'cause teams won't throw at him, my son told me they call him Quintonamo Bay. As in CeeDee is going to Quintonamo Bay this week.
I’ve been a “soft” defender of Nick, but I’m not sure his brain is working? I got no idea how a working brain decides to forfeit a 99% chance to go up three scores on an opponent?
While I agree Sirianni needs to be more selective on his aggressive calling, having an aggressive coach like Campbell or Sirianni is a double edge sword. When their play calling on 4th is successful no one will really mention it, but when it doesn't work people take notice. The only good thing is the Eagles have enough talent to be able to bail his calling out when it doesn't work.
Easy = For All Players Normal = For Players with Experience Hard = For Players who want a challenge Sirianni = For Players who want an artificial difficulty modifier that will almost guarantee a loss
Sirianni’s biggest problem throughout his career has been his ego. I firmly agree with the sentiment that his ego comes into play with these decisions. I think he continues to go for it when he misses an earlier opportunity to prove he made the right decision. The first time, it just didn’t work out. Same thing with the two point conversions. There’s a voice in his head, demanding to show everybody that he was right And it’s going to really hurt the team in the playoffs. I honestly think they need to move on from him after this year unless they win the Super Bowl. I hate to say this, but I don’t think they’re gonna win the Super Bowl because he can’t get out of his own way.
Manning actullay told a dude If you try catch with 1 hand again I’ll never throw to you. Well he actually just pointed him off the field. Hilarious story
The fans got into an argument with Nick telling him to run the fucking ball. He listens and they’re winning now the fan base is telling him just take the fucking points especially since scoring is down offense is down take the points. Let’s see if he listens for a second time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That not scoring in the first quarter thing is kinda misleading considering we’ve won a lot of coin toss’s this year and deferred every single one also plays a huge part of it coupled with the turnovers which I don’t remember any being the second half. It’s actually kinda lucky that they happened early as opposed to losing the ball towards the end of the game when momentum is everything once people start wearing down. Js
i get a walk off td.... but dude dove dragged his leg and caught that ball out the endzone.... how is that not bad ass? like what am i missing its only sick if the catch ends the game? terrible take
@talldreamyopposum bro I'm genuinely confused how dumb your comment is? Like what the actual fuck😂 what are you yappin about I'm talking about smiths touchdown?
I see a lot of “it’s talent they win in spite of Sirianni.” If they are that talented, why are they getting shut down so often on these plays like 4th and short and two point conversions?
We are missing Jordan mailata last night also why the push tush didn't look right ohh but it's bad coaching you kick the extra point up 16-0 and go up 17-0 , there was no need for the push tush up that much
I'm an eagles fan but it's actually funny much our fans hate this guy. It's hilarious how much he triggers people. I say keep up the good work Nick!! 🤣
Sirianni has to go. We need a real professional out there. We are winning because Howie put together more talent than other teams. There is a pro bowler at every level of offense and defense except LB. We win despite the coach.
Its the fact 9pts is the difference of putting a team away and the 8pts off the missed call. The game shouldn't of been close. Stop mismanaging the team when you should just take the points. Dumb, good, or great? Right now its being dumb that your not showing faith in your kicker. Plain in simple
Chris I love you brother... All those decisions to go were good decisions. We can question the playcall and/execution... But those decisions were on point don't get caught up by 1998 old heads. Also... Take your boy to climb killi
Maybe the lone Eagle fan with this take... but the fumble call was legit. He didn't get tripped, he was barely touched and did not fall from that contact. No whistle when he lands, & the crawling caused the fumble. Barkley brought it on himself.
Chris my question to you as a former pro who played at a high level, how does sirianni’s going for 2 all the time play into your mindset at a defensive player, knowing that you can take the easy points and pad the lead you already have, whereas sirianni made some piss poor coaching decisions in the jags game, which absolutely let the jags hang around in that game. Should have taken the easy points, instead he chooses to go for 2. I genuinely believe he does it because he can, and it sure seemed to be out of spite the last couple times going for 2 in head scratching moments…
Sirianni is the NFL version of James Franklin at Penn state. He’s got the juice, but man, you can’t deny they both make and have made so real fucking dumb choices as far as football, time management, points, down and distance…but I digress, I didn’t play in the league so my opinion matters, nil.
Always enjoy the Eagles talk. Is it me or is this the first confession of Chris's fandom!? I know he said he is biased but full fandom!? Love to hear it. You don't know me Chris and Beau but you are fam over here, lol. Just one thing, "Brotherly shove" stop the tush talk, lol. For me, Sirriani's biggest mistake was not taking the points after Jags back to back score. It makes me question if he has the pulse of the game. The 2pt conversions, would I? Probably not but not terrible. I think he was being stubborn. what a game though!
