- 👋 In todays video we take a look at the last model year for the Chevrolet Corvette C7! This model is the Z06 with the seven speed manual transmission! The Corvette C7 is a highly popular American sportscar and withthe Z06 package, it adds a lot of performance goodies to make this a track weapon!
The exterior styling for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 is very sharp and angular and gives it a distinctive design overall! There's also a few unique features with the Chevrolet Corvette C7, like the hood opening in the reverse direction, having the targa top and offering plenty of storage!
The interior on this Chevrolet Corvette C7 is nice. I wouldn't say it's very luxurious, but for a car of this type and being an American brand, it has nice materials and simple technology to use.
The driving experience makes up for that however. With high horsepower and rear wheel drive, this is a car you need to know how to drive! It has more power than you could want and is extremely quick! The manual though is very easy to use and driving this everyday would be fine. When you do drive this Chevrolet Corvette C7 like normal, it's quiet and comfortable and only when you are ready to mash your right foot, does it come alive!
The Corvette C7 is the last front engine Corvette from Chevrolet since the latest model, the Chevrolet Corvette C8 is now a mid engine model! I had a Corvette C8 on order, but was very hopeful they would add a manual option and when that wasn't going to happen and at the time delays, I cancelled that order. I would honestly buy a C7 over the C8 just because of the manual. It's such a raw feeling car at the same time and so much more driver focused and engaging! I'm sure the price of the C7 could go up, being this is the last "true" Corvette. Definitely a blast to drive and experience!

Those aren't the carbon ceramic brakes. Carbon ceramic brakes are always drilled never slotted and also are much bigger than the brakes on the car you're reviewing.

I have a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, convertible, A8, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. As great as the C8 is, I still love the C7 better. Thanks for the video!
As long as you're in Sport or Track mode I believe the 1 to 4 gear locked is disable. I've seen the 1-4 message displayed on the screen occasionally but I can shift from 1 to 2 with no issues.

I wouldn’t say that, mustangs are cheaper for a second car & can get one built for more hp than this car has stock. But this car is my dream car & it’s better but if you’re talking price per dollar nah mane

@@jsavage9134 do not ever compare and crap mustang to a Z06, ever. People like you need education b 4 you speak. A mustang can only go straight. You sit way to high in them, you sit on top of it instead of it. The mustang handling is absolutely trash. The zo6 can do everything and sounds like thunder. The handling of them the speed and the sound is a smile you cannot get from a mustang. If I want something as cheap as a mustang, I would get an SS1le.
@@dnice362don’t be so quick to crap on Mustangs. GT350s and 350Rs handle extremely well and Mustang GTs with the PP2 package weren’t slouches. Don’t know much about the newer ones ie: Dark Horse. I went from a C7 GS to Z06. Love my Z06 but I don’t drive around like I’m better than anyone else.

Love video, and Zo6 C7 is my favourite corvette ,afcourse ZR1 zo6 , but for money of Zo6 you get audi RS6 ,more space and faster ,and better tech for less money
Just depends on what works for the buyer!
Audi RS6 are going north of 100k easily. C7 Z06 used are 65k-85k normally. Would say the RS6 is faster either if you know how to launch the Z06 and from a roll the Z06 has the bigger advantage
That car gets better gas than all my SUV’s lol but only an 18 gallon fuel tank isn’t great

What's a true Corvette? 2019 or older..front engine. 2020 and newer.."mid-engine"...questionable, but respectable. What's def not is the 4 dr "corvette" SUV coming out in 2025..or a corvette pickup truck or something like that. Mustang has a 4 door mustang now. Is that a "mustang"? Of course not!
